A HIDDEN GEM IN GUNGAHLIN!

Eastlake Gungahlin completely blew me away — I was only in Gungahlin for a day, but this place alone made it unforgettable. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a clean, refreshing interior design that gives off the perfect balance of modern comfort and good vibes. Whether you’re hanging out solo, catching up with friends, enjoying a family meal, or celebrating with a big group — this place suits it all effortlessly.

The bacon & cheese garlic bread was loaded with flavour, hot chips were crispy and fresh, and the sirloin steak? Incredibly tender — melts in your mouth!

Bonus: free off-street parking makes it super convenient too.

A must-visit if you’re in Canberra.

Visited the bistro with some friends. They make a decent schnitzel and they have a wee play area for kids with a mini climbing wall and a cool slide. A chill easy place for a feed.

Had a pretty good function room experience here - very good facilities and plenty of food

Need to sign in with driver's licence

Parking was more problematic than expected. Underneath said 43 free but there were no spaces. So, some people parked diagonally opposite and up one level and their car got locked in for the night.

Held a 50th event in one of the function rooms and have nothing but praise for the staff and facilities. Staff went out of their way at every interaction to make the night memorable for all the right reasons. The food was fantastic, more than we could eat, and those with dietary requirements were very happy with the offerings. The function room had great sound and lighting, and the setup meant we had enough space for those that wanted to chat and those who wanted to dance the night away. Fiona left no detail unchecked in helping us plan the event and all staff on the night went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed, checking regularly throughout the evening. So glad we chose here and will happily come back again. Thanks for a fantastic event!

Its a small club that has a local vibe. Food took an hour to make but it wasnt bad in terms of taste. I had the chicken parmigiana which was as expected from a club. Staff are friendly and welcoming.

Eastlake Gungahlin, it was my very first time there. It was fun because they had karaoke! I love karaoke! The food was very yummy and affordable. The first person I encounter when I don't know where to go was the lady named Tess. She is not only pretty with a smile, she was also very helpful. I will definitely keep coming back to this place.

The venue appears pleasant, but the male staff member who sign me up for membership lacked friendliness and provided poor customer service.

I believe front-facing staff should be welcoming, as they represent the company's image.

The food is just okay, and the bar staff are friendlier than the concierge/reception. Nonetheless, we're enjoying watching the football here.

Celebrating a birthday milestone is a big deal and my 50th at The Calwell club was fantastic. From communications with the event manager, reception staff, bar staff, catering staff etc. All involved made it a great day. Highly recommend the food and service l, all was great.
