Been going to this centre for my elderly parents and lately very frustrated with the quality of doctors, lack of knowledge and them just not being thorough in examination. They will get you out door like checking another box for max billing. Now understanding the many medical issues which have been missed for my parents I wish I took them elsewhere earlier to doctors more focused. GPs and geriatric specialists - no need to speak to elderly patients like they are all senile, have hearing loss, or are too adorable at their age. Providing serious and quality medical advice this place does not.

Almost completely private billing with only 2 bulk billing doctors according to the receptionist, who are both very booked out. In my opinion, this medical centre is no longer as community-serving as it once was. Even phone consults are billed. A very disappointing transition. Today, I needed a follow up referral, which would have taken well under 5 minutes and require another appointment for even further follow-up due to the nature of my condition. No options available, apart from suddenly having to pay for the consultation or wait over 2 weeks. My last appointment was also 20 minutes late during my lunch break, and structured in a way that needed follow-up appointments, which now places me in this dilemma. Avoid.

Very disappointed with the service at Earlwood Medical Center. The receptionist booked us with the wrong doctor, which was inconvenient. We were charged $175 for a 15-minute consultation as non-Medicare patients, even though we only collected a blood test result and didn’t receive a proper consultation. The service did not meet our expectations, and we do not feel the charge was justified. We will be lodging a formal complaint with NSW Health. Would not recommend.

Nice staff, Dr Jenny young is kind, attentive and knowledgeable. Only down side would be that not all practitioners offer bulk billing and allied health also has out of pocket costs

A big thanks to Dr Joachim Redgment. I came in with a swollen and painful finger. He correctly diagnosed Flexor Tenosynovitis and rang around to identify the best hospital emergency department for a weekend. Some doctors might have prescribed broad spectrum oral antibiotics, but by getting me to go to emergency, I had the right treatment I needed quickly. Thanks for your care Dr Joe!

Earlwood medical centre does not give your own x-ray results.
the x-ray is paid by you and the results should be available for you to take to any doctor that you want as many time that you want to ensure it is properly done

This is the best medical centre around. The reception staff is so professional. The nurses are wonderful. The doctors sincerely care, are attentive to your issues and stay on top of things. Wait time is reasonable. You can book on the HotDoc app, and you’ll get SMS or email reminders. If you need to cancel or reschedule you can do it from the app, too. It will also let you know when you need to follow up. The Laverty lab techs are also very good. It’s difficult for people to find a good vein on me, and they’ve not had a problem. Parking is easy because there is a public carpark right nearby. This ticks all the boxes and is a shining example of how excellent Australian health care can be.
