Had such a great time on this tour! Luke was an amazing tour guide who really brought joy and energy to the days.
He brought us to all the nicest places early in the morning so we could enjoy it without all the other tours being there.
We were also really good taken care of food wise. I’m vegan and they provided everything.

I stayed in one of the beach cabins. They were really cute and had everything you needed.

We had an incredible and unforgettable weekend on K’gari!! Our tour guide, Jamie, was an absolute legend. He was so enthusiastic and passionate about the island and its culture. Jamie was always informative, fun and just an all round brilliant guy.

The whole team at the eco camp kept us well fed and made us feel at home. We had a private glamping pod which was fantastic.

The itinerary each day was perfect, with plenty of time at each destination and lots of activities to experience.

There is so much to do on this beautiful island and we were lucky enough to experience it with the best people.

Thank you all so much, this has truly been a highlight for our trip to Australia!!

I cannot recommend K’gari Adventures enough!! This island is truly a special place. Their knowledge and respect for the land came through in everything they did. Our guides Jaime and Tyson kept us all safe and having fun the entire trip. Stay in his tracks and you’ll have no problem driving around the island!

This note is for anyone with dietary restrictions: As long as you communicate them ahead of time, the Eco Retreat on K’gari where you stay is good at catering to them. As someone who is DF and GF, I did not go hungry and enjoyed every meal!

We were lucky to be blessed with Troy as our guide for our tour. Words cannot describe how incredible he was. From his extensive knowledge of history of the Butchulla people, local birds and any other creepy crawlers he could get his hands on to show you. Has an abundance of great stories to tell you about his past experience and story’s of the island, he really makes everyone feel accommodated. The staff on camp were great as well with most notably the food was great with the only place on the island you can get freshly cooked chips as well.

After returning from the beautiful K’gari I’d like to say a huge thank you to Drop Bear’s K’gari Adventures for making our experience an unforgettable one! A special mention to the incredible Cory, who quite honestly is so much more than a tour guide. A guy who is so passionate about the island and his work. From start to finish he made an effort with each and every one of us, getting to know us, ensuring we were all safe, enjoying ourselves and informed on the islands history!

Also a special mention to the lovely workers and volunteers at the Eco Retreat, ensuring we were fed, comfortable and taken care of. They too took the time to get to know us and even joined us around the fire for some songs!

Honestly the best tour I have ever done. Thank you to our wonderful guide Jamie (and Tyson!) for your knowledge, experience and enthusiasm. I was debating which tour to book but I am so grateful I went with Drop Bear. We saw dolphins, dingoes, sea snakes, sea eagles and more on our 3 day tour, coupled with Jamie’s extensive knowledge of the island. Accommodation in the clamping tents was clean and comfortable. Thank you for the best weekend!

Had a tour of a lifetime! Always hesitant about tours for being rigid but this one felt very organic and flexible.

Troy (our guide) took really good care of us and we visited the popular sights at the right time so we could have the whole place to ourselves and avoid the crowds. He planned each day as the weather goes and we trusted in his plans! He took us to some spots that were off the beaten path and the ones not to be missed. Everyone on the tour were nice and chill, and we all got along lovely!

K’gari island itself was just gorgeous and raw at the same time, it’s unlike anywhere else I’ve ever been and the feeling of being in the 4wd driving along the beach is just amazing and surreal.

It was my partner’s birthday on the second day of the tour and it was such a memorable one for us both. The Drop Bear team surprised him with cakes from the local bakery which was such a sweet gesture!

All the meals were yummy and healthy too, felt like they were prepared with love (big props to the team!). The glamping rooms were also comfy and we slept well. Thank you Sophie and Sean (our glamping retreat hosts) for the warm hospitality and thanks for showing us your backyard, Troy!

We made so many core memories on the island in just that short amount of time and will reminisce on it so fondly. Would highly recommend Drop Bear K’gari Adventures!

No words can describe how amazing the whole experience was. K’gari is truly a paradise and Drop Bear is the best agency you can go for. The whole trip experience was smooth and timely. A huge shoutout to Hammy , the best tour guide you could ask for , he made sure that we didn’t miss out on all the amazing spots on the island and his enthusiasm and knowledge about the island is incomparable.

The stay at Eco Retreat by Sean and Sophie was equally pleasant. They made sure that we felt comfortable and were well fed with nutritious food. Huge shoutout to all the volunteers for helping us while we were there. If you are planning to visit K’gari , Dropbear should be your choice without any second thoughts. Truly an experience of a lifetime.
