I just spent three fantastic days with the Drop Bear Crew in K'Gari, and everything was perfect. The trip was well-organized, but still relaxed, with a great balance of activities and downtime. It gave us the true island vibe. The crew was nice, helpful, up to date and really professional. The accomodation was very comfortable and convenient.

A big shoutout to our guide, Hammy—he was the best guide I've ever had. He made the trip fun and interesting, and I learned a lot about myself and life along the way. Thanks Hammy for everything!

I highly recommend this tour to anyone. It's an experience you won't forget! 🙂

Thank you Hammy! Just returned from the best weekend on K’gari island. This tour was so well-organised and thought through. Everything had been taken into account - tides, drive times, snacks when you’re hungry, plenty of games, water refills, bathroom stops and we managed to arrive at each place about half an hour before all the other tour groups. Hammy also explained the historical and spiritual significance of each place which was amazing. There was plenty of food, warm showers and the beds were clean and comfortable. Most importantly I felt safe at all times despite dingos, difficult driving and even encountering a venomous sea snake.

Thank you Hammy for an awesome weekend we will never forget!

Incredible 3 days on K’Gari, could not imagine visiting the island with any other company. Corey was amazing, gave us lots of information on the nature, wildlife, history and traditions of the island whilst also having a laugh and keeping us all safe while navigating the paths and beaches (be prepared for lots of bumpy rides!). 2 early starts meant we had the main spots almost to ourselves for most of the time which was ideal. Megan and all the team at the retreat looked after us really well with lovely food for every meal and plenty for everyone. Could not recommend this tour any more - exceeded all of our expectations and left us with lifelong memories of our trip. Only disappointment was when we had to leave at the end!

Absolutely epic 3 days on the Drop Bears K’gari tour. Cory was an amazing guide, enthusiastic and passionate about K’gari. Food was good, accommodation was great and the pace of each day was perfect. Early starts to each day which meant we got to places before other tour groups which was great. A great mix of all ages, but perfect for people in their early to late twenties. Only over 21s were able to drive. Would definitely recommend this tour.

We’ve just returned from the 3 day / 2 night K’Gari Island adventure and couldn’t recommend it more!

The accommodation was clean and very comfortable, the staff were all really friendly and made sure you had what you needed, including lots of food!!

The main shoutout has to go to Corey, he was an amazing guide who really cares about the island. He provided lots of insightful facts about the island and made the whole trip really fun, safe and a once in a lifetime experience!

Booking this tour is the perfect option for couples, friends or if you’re travelling solo, with lots of chances to meet new people and enjoy a few drinks around the campfire if that’s your thing!

We've been in Australia for 4 weeks, and this is easily a top highlight of our trip so far. Everything exceeded expectations. Accomodation was great, with a dorm style setup sharing a room with 3-4 others on proper beds, we expected tents so this was a welcome sight. Hot showers and toilets provided, plus good food, and company with the rest of our group on the tour.

More importantly, Luke was an absolutely unreal tour guide. We learnt so much from him. Not just about the island, but about life. 100% recommend, don't go anywhere else. These guys are great.
