What an awesome place with such a cool vibe. Some of the best pizza I've had in adelaide with probably what is my favourite gins (board meeting is truly amazing) and you get to wine and dine surrounded by vineyards. Will definitely be back!

Absolutely amazing! The views are so beautiful. We ordered the GF pizza and you would not have even known the difference. It was so yummy! Natalie was so kind and made our experience that much more amazing! 100% recommend. 🙌🏼

Spend an evening here after researching local distilleries open for dinner and it was lovely. Great food, great drinks and even greater service! Definitely worth visiting!

Down South Distillery is a relaxed , very Australian’ bush ‘ type atmosphere .
Formally Agostinos winery , they have taken the place over and run with it .
Unfortunately we’d just eaten lunch so didn’t have any food here ( although definitely coming back as the wood fired oven pizzas smell amazing!) but the gins were well worth the detour . I had actually never heard of them , as it’s not well advertised, but a small detour due to road works guided us to our destination.
The owner was very passionate about her gin , and took great pains to explain it to us . I had the flight , while my friend, who normally doesn’t drink , had a lovely frothy , fruity pink cocktail.
The Board Meeting from what I understand was the original , with its 13 botanicals , was citrus forward and had a spicy aroma . The Watering Hole was the London Dry , very smooth initially with its fiery aftertaste was probably my favourite, with its aftertaste of ginger .
The most unusual of them was the Bush Chook, was a floral gin - this one changed the most when you added the tonic , and brought forward the taste of musk and cherry .
Really enjoyed the experience- it was laid back and a great experience for a relaxed afternoon. I did really enjoy the eighties playlist that was heard over the speakers at the time .
Hopefully will be back soon for those pizzas!

Best experience and the staff were so nice! Had my 40th there and all the staff welcomed us in, so nice and friendly, great food, fun atmosphere! Beautiful location, couldn't have been a better place.

Amazing family owned business with moreish botanical gins. We had amazing platters and the service was next to none. Definitely recommend visiting Down South Distillery on the Fleurieu Peninsula, it was such a beautiful experience!

Great location and outlook onto the vinyards and hills. Service was friendly. Sadly the pizzas disappointed. Soggy, stodgy and left us feeling dissatisfied and wanting to get another pizza elsewhere at other awesome options near by. Will sadly not be recommending.

Just had a relaxing afternoon at Down South Distillery (previously #Agostino Winery). Great atmosphere, super friendly staff, delicious platters and pizzas and some live music to complete the picture. Took home some delicious Bush Chook Pink Gin. Well worth a visit.
