Very good tour provided by the Dolphin Discovery Centre. Travelled out by boat from the shoreline near the Discovery Centre for about 15 minutes into the mouth of the cut entering Koombana Bay and found at least fifteen dolphins in a pod, they moved around the boat for at least 30 minutes.
The young bloke piloting the boat was an excellent guide and very informative about the dolphins and their habits.
Recommend this tour to anyone interested in dolphins and traveling to Bunbury or the South West of Western Australia. ?

We booked a tour to see dolphins on boat. Unfortunately due to weather the tour was not possible as too rough. We visited the center and were treated so well, prompt refund and given guided tour of the turtles being rehabilitated not on the public tour by Shane as a special treat. The center is amazing and staff so knowledgeable and so friendly. Well recommended as a family day out and we saw dolphins in the bay after a delicious meal in the cafe. Amazing !!!!!!!

My six year old son loved the Dolphin Discovery Centre. So much so that we had to go back and visit again the next week. The staff at the centre are very good communicators and very enthusiastic about their work. The aquariums are very well kept with beautiful sea creatures. Lots of interesting information with each exhibit. Who would have thought that an octopus has nine brains and three hearts and blue blood!!!

The kids enjoyed seeing all the sea creatures in the centre. Very educational too.

You don’t see dolphins in the centre as they don’t belong in captivity. If you want to see dolphins up close, go sign up for the available tours.

Overall, an awesome place to be!

This was great and the staff were possibly the friendliest staff ive come across. The feature where you can draw a picture and scan it so it shows your drawing in the fish tank was really cool. My 6 year old loved it here! My 3 year old probably wasn't as entertained but she loved the bright colours of the fish and enjoyed it none the less.

The staff were wonderful. They were very helpful and made sure everybody saw at least 1 dolphin underwater whilst never compromising the dolphins' well-being. You never felt pressured or rushed. It was a relaxed and beautiful experience. Educational information was informative and well presented. Everybody was in no doubt as to what behaviour was expected of them to ensure the dolphins' well-being. It was an absolute privilege to swim with these fantastic animals.
