Melody and her wonderful team have looked after our fur baby on a number of occasions since he joined our family last year. As a GSP, he’s not for the faint hearted! The free range nature of the farm and home like facilities mean he is always happy to stay and content when we pick him back up. The fact that we have watched him on a number of occasions when he’s not aware of our presence happily follow staff around or run across to meet them was the ultimate proof we’d found the perfect fit for him. I wholeheartedly recommend Doggy Farmstay.

We inspected numerous boarding places before our recent one week holiday. Upon arriving, I immediately knew that Melody's Doggy Farmstay would be ideal. The others don't even come close. Melody's was the only place that provided open space and dogs are not crated. It has a happy environment feel that all dogs would enjoy.

They will be staying with Melody again in the September and December holidays for extended periods.

If you want worry-free holidays, book them in with Doggy Farmstay.

So glad I found Melody’s Doggy Farm Stay. Our dog Maggie had the best time there for almost two weeks, running around with all her new doggy friends. Maggie is an active border collie cross who is super social so a regular boarding kennel would not be suitable. Melody was super easy to deal with and we loved the photo updates.

The 5 Acre property allows dogs to play together and exercise freely. There are no kennels, instead the dogs sleep together in a common area and are under 24 hour care. Our dog has stayed with Melody several times and doesn’t look back when we drop him off !

Fantastic place with amazing, caring staff. Highly recommend. My fairly timid rescue dog doesn't cope well in regular boarding kennels. He was very relaxed at Doggy Farmstay. I dropped him off and picked him up with a wagging tail. He tells me he's looking forward to his next stay.

Our cattle dog Archie had a great short stay with Melody. The farm is huge and secure, and we felt at ease leaving Archie there - and we are very strict with where we send him for overnight stays! Booking in is easy and Melody is lovely, and Archie is already booked in for future stays. Thanks team 🙂

Our moodle Indi came from a breeder which turned out to be a puppy farm with appalling conditions. She spent four months under our couch and constantly
shaking. The vet told me she would need anxiety medication. She would not go for walks. She was scared of people and other dogs. Finally she came to trust us and was sitting on our couch but still wouldn't walk outside.

A friend recommended Melody. Indi was with Melody and her staff for three days. I now have a dog that wants to go walking. She doesn't shake and loves other dogs. Melody's love and care of Indi completely changed her for the better. I even questioned if it was my dog!

The photos and videos of my beautiful girl eased my anxiety and made me smile to see Indi so happy.

Don't even think of anyone else. Doggy farm stay is without a doubt, the best place you can leave your loved ones. And I am an extremely difficult person to please when it comes to those I love.

Thank you Melody and staff.

Where do I even start. This place has been the best ever since I moved to the area, they treat Pippa like a queen and I don't have one worry in the world. She is always absolutely exhausted when I pick her up and when were driving down the driveway she has her head out the window and her tail wagging on the way to her favourite place!!!! I looked into other kennels prior to finding Doggy Farm Stay but why would I put her in a small little kennel for a weekend when she could be on acreage running around with her fur buddies!!! Couldn't recommend them any higher!!! also love how they post on socials of the pups having fun!!
