I booked with D’Luxe Classic Cars Tours as a surprise for my husband to take in the sights of Mount Dandenong ranges. The smile on his face when he realised that we were going cruising for the day in a 56 Chevy Belair was simple joy. Meeting with John was like spending time with a friend, chatting for hours about cars, family and life in general and he tailored the day just for us by taking us to some lesser known gems of the Dandenong. We hired John for our wedding after desperately watching a classic car to transport us to our wedding at the Altar Electric. John and his 1956 Chevy did not disappoint. John was prompt in his communication, easy to work with and his car was exactly the vibe we wanted for our big day. Before booking he was very patient in answering any and all questions we had and was willing to be flexible as we sorted out the finer details and scheduling for the big day.

What a brilliant night! I booked the Sunset Special tour for my Hubby's Christmas present and it was the perfect gift. John picked us up in 'Lois', his glorious 1956 Chevy and we cruised around Albert Park Lake, down to Green Point in Brighton to view the iconic Bathing Boxes and back to St Kilda for a cheeky pint at the Prince of Wales. John is extremely knowledgeable about cars, jazz, graphic design, travel, Melbourne and all things cool. A great way to see the sites and travel in style. Thanks John!!!

Outstanding. John arranged the day to cover exactly what we wanted. We had a delightful day in the Yarra Valley. That 1956 car brought back memories! John is also an excellent conversationalist.

My advice is to book longer rather than shorter tours. We had six hours. A little longer would have been even better.

Best tour guide in Melbourne! His sweet Bel Air was stylishly classic. My newly wed wife and I took a day tour to many of the cool sites in the city for a price that was just right. John was a wonderful host and pointed us to some great spots for Instagramable photos. It was a once in a lifetime experience.
