Had the best time learning to freedive with Taylor on Heron Island! Five stars doesn’t do justice to the incredible experience at the retreat. Taylor is a great teacher and very knowledgeable about all things freediving. I was a complete beginner to freediving and was made to feel so comfortable and relaxed while diving. Heron Island was unforgettable and I can’t wait to go diving with Taylor again!

I recently attended the free-diving and Mermaid Retreat on Heron Island, organised by Diving In Paradise and The Mermaid Connection. I had a great time learning, meeting new people and having fun both in the water and on land with the island activities. Taylor creates a relaxed and positive environment to learn in. Everything on the retreat was perfect, and would highly recommend for anyone who loves Swimming, Free Diving, Mermaiding and the Ocean.

Couldn’t recommend this enough, the instructors were amazing and the way they were able to share their knowledge and teach was awesome and helpful. Made free diving fun and safe definitely will be doing more adventures with them.

Had a great time completing my freediving course! Both days were run smoothly and everyone in the class loved the way Tay interacted with us, in and out of the water. From starting in the pool to ending in the ocean at Julian Rocks, everyone felt comfortable every step of the way and progressed with their diving skills and techniques alot!

Just book it, you won’t regret it.
Mo’orea ‘23 was the most surreal experience. Swimming with whales, exploring new places, creating memories with new friends, if that’s your vibe then look no further. Taylor is so knowledgeable and learning from her helped this free diving beginner to hit 10m in one day with ease.

It was great fun, made it 11 meters , Elle and Taylor gave a great talks . Learned how to kick better too which makes big difference. Taylor was great with advice on the line too .
