Excellent dive shop, knowledgable staff.
The instructors are extremely knowledgable.
Ekrim was patient while we work through the skill sets needed in the pool.

The second day with Paul, The owner and a Marine Biologist was amazing.

The 3rd day we were able to get to 18m at Slack water at 12ft reef with a well appointed boat. Knowledgable staff once again with Jess and Luke.

Huge shoutout to the team there.
Well done.

I had considered going for my open water many times before while travelling Indonesia.

I knew this was the right place when I walked in and saw the setup.

This shop shines through anything else I’ve seen or experienced.

My previous experience was in Bali when you get a tank on your back, get thrown in the water in Bali. It’s terrifying to even consider other places now.

Doing this course has highlighted all the safety training required to dive.

I’ll definitely be back to absorb the knowledge walking around the shop. Grab some more gear , which fitted perfectly, weights correct, well maintained equipment.

Thanks again.

We rented out several full sets of diving gear for a day diving trip. This was our first time diving outside of diving tours and everyone at Diveline was incredibly helpful in answering our questions and helping make sure we had a successful dive. We would absolutely go back if we had more time in Melbourne!

A caution to anyone travelling from afar to attend this diving centre’s courses.

I had planned the trip of a lifetime to Melbourne to complete my PADI Open Water Diver Course at Diveline Scuba Centre, however I was disappointed to received a telephone call less than 24 hours before the due start date of the course to inform me that the course was cancelled due to low attendance numbers and would be issued a refund. Having already travelled halfway around the world to attend the course and booking nearby accommodation I challenged their decision to cancel the course, however for the course to continue they stated that I would have to pay up to an additional A$400, a fee not stated anywhere on their website.

Despite Diveline’s offer of a refund, or the offer to continue the course at an additional cost as stated above, I found their correspondence poor in the short cancellation notice I received, but also in their failure to signpost or provide me with a copy of their booking terms and conditions despite multiple requests.

I do not recommend this dive centre for anyone who is travelling a long distance to attend a course due to the lack of booking security that they offer, as in my experience they will pull course at the last minute.

Have been diving with Diveline for a few years now with my son recently completing his open water and the marine education program which is one of the most amazing education experiences! The team are always professional, happy to help and really do provide a safe and well organised environment!

Beware: unprofessional and unsafe. I attended here for training. On the first day, Paul, the owner, made inappropriate, crass innuendos during the group lesson. He became inpatient at times and kept questioning one student in front of everyone. Then when setting up scuba equipment, he told an assistant coach to stop helping someone, even though we were all just learning and it was important for everyone to set up equipment safely, so I ended up helping that student. Another day, the water was rough, there were many students to coaches, questionable whether it was safe, but Paul proceeded with the dive. Another dive, the tanks were mixed up and mislabeled. When Paul lost his temper again, I asked to cancel the class for refund because I was uncomfortable with it, but Paul refused and then the center didn't respond for my followups. Paul threatened me about posting a review, but it's important to say how his behavior has been, and this is an objective account.

It's definitely a big positive experience. Did Padi Open Water with Diveline, and all the staff and instructors are brilliant! They are thorough, have the right amount of patience, and are very knowledgeable. They are always happy to help and teach. Would highly recommend them. They can teach the unteachable it seems.

I have been visiting Diveline for my SCUBA needs for at least 4 years now and can't fault the service and training. I have done multiple courses from Wreck to Deep and all the way through Tech and have no issues whatsoever. If you're looking for great service, great instructors and an extremely active social club, look no further!
