I entrusted Jo to take us to our starting point of the Lara Pinta trail and pick us up. We were nervous as we were on a time schedule. Jo was on time and had an immaculate clean vehicle. We arranged to have him pick us up 8 days later at Redbank Gorge where there was no cell reception. We had had a huge amount of rain and cold weather 6 c days. Jo arrived early to our meeting point with a warm heated immaculate land drover. I would recommend Jo to look after you in the desert. He is also a great conversationalist for the LONG journey

"NOT YOUR AVERAGE JOE"
Jo is a seasoned and knowledgeable local guide, with extensive experience to share, you just have to ask. He's passionate about the local region and the people, knows everyone and adds a personal flavour to every story, which my partner and I found to be authentic.
Jo provided us with "no fuss" transport from the airport straight to the Larapinta trail head at Ellery Creek and then pick up from Standley Chasm 4 days later. He was punctual to the minute and his beloved Landrover is spotless clean.
On the way back to Alice Jo drove us all around town and gave us an informal tour of every part of it, without us even having to ask... he could tell we are curious about the place.
Most of all, the reason we rate Jo highly is his charming character and willingness to go the extra mile with his service.

This is the first Google review I’m writing and Jo definitely deserves it. We were walking the Larapinta and Jo got us to and from the track easily. He knows a lot about the area and is definitely an amazing guy. 10/10 would recommend him to any hikers looking for transfers along the Larapinta trail.

Jo was incredibly friendly, helpful and passionate. Super easy to contact for our tour and drop offs, accomodating and easy to chat too. Literally gave us the shoes of his feet! Would definitely recommend for Larapinta Trek drops.

Jo dropped us off and picked us up when we did a few nights on the Larapinta trail. He was flexible with pick-up/drop-off timing and easy to communicate and plan with, which we really appreciated!
Jo clearly has plenty of experience and was very knowledgeable about the area, which was a nice way for us to get situated. He went the extra mile when picking us up, bringing us a cheeky local beer to celebrate.
Jo dropped us off right at our accomodation and even helped us out by taking us to grab some food since we were a bit out of the way. Simple communication, flexibility and a great chat meant we would absolutely book with Jo again!

Couldn’t be happier with the service, Joe drove us to Ellery Creek and picked us up from red bank George despite the wild weather. Joe was a pleasure to chat to and a great bloke, will 100% be using discovery tours NT again.
