If I could give this tour 10 stars I would. We did the 1 day warrior tour. Our driver, Michael, was absolutely fantastic and made the trip so much fun! The group wasn’t too big either which was nice as it felt much more personal. Michael told us so many facts and stories about the island and they were never dull and it added so much to the trip. As a day tour we got to do a walk in the rainforest, spend some time at lake Mackenzie and do several beach stops. We saw some wildlife, unfortunately no Dingoes but that’s just wild animals for you. We even saw a tiger sea snake ? I’m so glad we did this trip and we plan on returning to K’gari/ Fraser again and doing an overnight trip as we loved it so much. If you only have a day I would say definitely go for this trip as it was the perfect day.

Booked the tour for 13th Dec 19 and I gotta say it was one of the most beautiful experiences I had in Australia.

The breathtaking beauty of Fraser Island is one reason. But above all, our tour guide Michael made it an unforgettable day.
Michael picked us up at 6 in the morning with a big smile on his face. During the whole day he told us many interesting facts about the island, its history and wildlife in a super entertaining way.
He also took good care of all guests until the end of the tour. Thank you again, Michael! Hope to see you again on that tour! I recommend Discovery Fraser 100%!

Great trip for adults or families. Our guide was very knowledgeable and even found a wild snake that my son got to hold. The lake was an absolute highlight.

We travelled to Fraser Island with Jamie as our tour leader. He has a wealth of knowledge about the history of the island and we felt very safe in his care. We were blessed with a sunny day and Lake Mackenzie was a highlight. However the food supplied was very basic. Considering the abundance of beautiful food available on the Sunshine Coast we were expecting something more creative.

We went on 2 trips- the Noosa Everglades day cruise, and the Fraser Island one day trip. Both days were well worth doing and very enjoyable. The guides were knowledgeable , informative, and entertaining.

I only can say that I've met the best tour guide so far!! Mike, our tour guide, had such a big smile on his face at 6 in the morning when he picked us up. Already very impressed by his cheering and welcoming manner. He told us stories and history in a way that I felt like I was listening to an audio book. He drove the whole day and always took a good care of everyone but didn't look a single minute tired or bored! Driving on that 'Heaven' is not heavenly at all. Just sitting on a seat can be a struggle since it is extremely bumpy. Again, Mike was telling us all the information and fun facts while this tiring driving. He always had an eye on his guests. By the time we got back from the lake McKenzie, he spotted us and brought us to the lunch place. On the way back when everyone was getting slowly tired, Mike was the only one keeping the highest energy level. We had such a stormy weather after we just got on the ferry. Of course, Mike kept everyone safe in this huge 4WD. After we arrived well back on the main land, he dropped off everyone and we were the first ones among the group. I was sad by the fact that I met this wonderful guide and also person but I won't see him again. My boyfriend and I both felt the same way. We only shorty gave him compliments since he had 8 other passengers to drop off. He dropped us off right in front of our campervan(see, how caring he is?). I was so thankful that we had him as our guide. Amazing tour guide!! If you book a Fraser Island tour, go for Discovery Fraser!

Very good experience. Our tour guide (Brock) was excellent. Knowledgeable, charismatic and, obviously, a good driver. On trip advisor I read some reviews where people complain about the drive being too long and bumpy. Don't pay attention to those reviews. What do those people expect?! It's a beautiful drive on the beach and on unpaved roads, with nature as close and untouched as possible.
