We attended a holiday property named Avoca beach living in April, the property description advised that all linen, towels, bath mats, tea towels were going to be provided.

We each had one towel for our 5 day stay, no toilet paper, no tea towels or bath mats, I had to re wash all cutlery, pans, plates all were absolutely disgusting and dont even get me started on the state of the bbq!!

We left the place cleaner than what we found it i actually think they should be paying us for cleaning that cess pool!.

The bond of $1000 was required upon check-in and after making a call enquiring about bond release the lady said it would take 10 days, fast forward to over a month later we called again and they blamed the bank for not releasing the money.

We called the bank and they said it's pretty typical of rentals like that to blame us.

After our experience with these people I would not recommend ever thinking about staying with "Di Jones Holiday Rentals"

You should be disgusted as an owner to even use them!

If you come across DiJones Holiday Rentals do not stay.

Worst experience I've ever had with a holiday rental.

Upon the booking process I was never contacted to make a first payment until the day the whole payment was due! Even when I had called previously I was reassured that an email would be sent with payment details.

Upon arrival, the house was dirty, linen, floors, surfaces. I contacted the agent to be told the cleaner wouldnt be there on the day we arrived, so my wife and I cleaned the house and put new linen on the beds (thankfully there were some in the cupboards). We also had one bathmat for two bathrooms, no handtowles, no extra toilet paper (we were there for a week with 5 people), no bin liners.

The next day the cleaner arrived with no new linen, no bathmats, or towels. The only thing they could do was wash the dirty linen and bring it back, but what would be the point as we already changed the linen? The house was cleaned by us the night before.

All this reported to the agent including photos as evidence upon arrival and updating the agent of issues during our stay. (There is more that could be mentioned that happened while we were in the holiday rental property.) A few days later we were sent a message accusing us that we denied entry to the cleaner.

As I type this 2 weeks later, the bond is still being held and even after contacting my bank to give the agent instructions of how to release it, they have not complied.

Throughout this experience not once has DiJones Holidays accepted any responsibility, nor apologised for the inconvenience this has been.

I have not asked for any reimbursement, only highlighted concerns and brought these matters to the agent. The customer service has been awful.

Very bad experience.
We stayed at the place and left it completely clean and with no damage. we also received no complaints during in our stay from neighbors or police, but despite this, Central Cost Holidays decided to kick us out and not give us our bond back due to “excess cleaning”
So we called fair training, and as soon as they heard about this they decided to let us finish our holiday, because they know that they are wrong.
After this they still refuse to give our bond back.

Horrible service. They deducted $360 off the bond for leaving a cleaned cycle of dishes inside dishwasher, we didnt have time to take them out. They also said it would take 2 cleaners 8 hours to clean the house as the beds werent done. By the sounds of things, they dont even wash their bedsheets or covers.

Very very very bad service... I don't recommend it to anyone.
They were intending to deduct $1,000 just for not cleaning the house...just cleaning...
And, after an argument that lasted for more than a month, the end they took $ 360 just to clean the microwave or clean the balcony.. .or make the bed and pillows.
