If you’re looking for a place to feel like home, where to eat like kings, have nice conversations and meet kind and wholehearted people, here’s the place !
We ended up in an unfair situation stuck with our car who broke down, and we’ve had so much help and advice, you get treated like one of their own.
Here’s the place to be to have a wonderful time.

Had an amazing evening at the Digby hotel, stopped for the night after a long drive as online said they offered free camping, ended up having a very memorable night with new friends. The staff here are so friendly and welcoming to people from out of town, we had a very generous and delicious chicken schnitzel dinner followed by many drinks and good laughs with local patrons and staff for the rest of the night. Camping outside was easy with nice hot shower and bathroom access all night. This place is great for camping or just for dinner and a few bevs! Huge thanks to Gordon, Karen and Kelly (tinker too!) for a warm welcome to Digby and for a great Friday night, wonderful humans!! 🙂

We had planned to stop overnight at The Digby Hotel and General Store in Digby Victoria, after all the great reviews. But when we got there, the doors were closed. Luckily, we saw a number on a banner about camping at the back of the pub, so we decided to give it a try and called it. Turns out, some bloke answered and told us that the pub was closed because they were sick, but it's all good because we could still camp out back. He even said we could use the toilet and shower! Can you believe it? We never expected that kind of hospitality.
Later on, we went for a stroll around the pub and this bloke named Gordon pulled up in his car and introduced himself as the owner. We started chatting and it turns out he used to be heavily involved in the transport industry and has quite the colorful past. We had a good ol' yarn out front and then he invited us inside. Let me tell you, the pub is one of those quirky country spots with funny signs and cool stuff on the walls. Gordon was absolutely fantastic and showed us some real Aussie hospitality. After a couple of hours, his partner Karin came out to briefly say hello, even though she wasn't feeling well. Talk about exceeding expectations!

This little pub has it all. Great people running it who are super friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to try their food, but we'll definitely be back for that. Thanks again to Gordon and Karin for their amazing hospitality. We absolutely loved our stay at the Digby!

What great little pub. 4 of us had the Sunday roast and it was a beautiful meal. Cold beer a friendly bar and kitchen staff. Cheers guys from the Price gang 👍

Had a great pub lunch here today. Great service, friendly staff and an awesome meal. Kids loved it. Pretty keen to get back to The Digby again before the end of summer!

Digby pub has no opening hours displayed, they don't have a lunch menu and the manager has no social skills, unwelcoming and rude, ignoring questions about any services available. I thought country folk were supposed to be friendly, but they're not, to visitors.
