During my recent visit to Byron Bay, I booked for three nights at Mata Hari. I was thoroughly impressed with the accommodation and the communication with Tanya, the owner. The booking, check-in, and check-out processes were all very smooth. Despite some initial hesitance due to a couple Google reviews, I can confidently say that booking through Destinations Byron Bay, especially at Mata Hari, will not disappoint! I advise to disregard any past bad reviews as I could not fault them at all.
The apartment was modern, extremely clean, and very comfortable. Its convenient location, just an 8-minute walk from the center of Byron Bay, made it unnecessary for me to use my vehicle, and stayed securely parked in the locked underground carpark which was included with the stay.

I highly recommend booking your accommodation with Destinations Byron Bay.

I booked a 5 night stay not long ago in Jim’s Beach House and I am very happy to say that the experience provided by Tanya and the team at Destination Byron Bay was nothing short of fantastic.

I booked as a romantic getaway for mine and my wife’s 10 year anniversary. I let the team know this upon booking and they went over and beyond of making a beautiful welcome gift of bubbles, candles and chocolates to help us celebrate our occasion.

The accommodation was spotless with everything in its place and yet still had a homely relaxing feel to it. We were contacted throughout our stay to see if we required anything else or assistance which was such a delight to be looked after so well. With a number of accommodations to choose from through Destination Byron Bay it’s the human touch by the team that makes it a wonderful stay no matter what place you choose.

Outstanding.Clean and tidy accommodation, comfortable beds and a fabulous hidden away, outdoor shower. There was a great swing chair, tucked into the garden to sit and ponder life or have a couple of drinks

We wish we did.

By booking elsewhere, you will get a pleasant, easy, transparent booking experience and fair and reasonable terms and conditions and cancellation policies.
None of which you will get from Destination Byron Bay.

We used to be happy to support small business booking agencies like this one but our experience with Destination Byron Bay and the manager, Ms O'Neill has been so pitiful and frankly disappointing at a fundamental human level, that we will always now use the online booking platforms.

If you want your holiday to feel like an actual holiday, choose the security, flexibility, confidence and professionalism of the online booking platforms and steer clear of this business.

The moment we booked and started interacting with the team at Destination Byron Bay, we knew we were on to something special. There are loads of beautiful accomodations around Byron but SERVICE is what people remember.

I asked that we had certain supplied ready for us on arrival and it was like arriving home with all the touches of home!! Even bubbles in the fridge chilling awaiting us!!!

We treated ourselves to the luxury of the Villa Aitutaki. We chose this Villa because although some of the time was to simply to reconnect together, we also wanted to entertain some business partners that live in Byron and we needed the extra rooms for them. Firstly we needed lots of help with organising a couple of dinner parties for our guests including a chef that came in and delivered a dinner that was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble for the team at Destination Byron Bay....I think I tested the friendship with my constant needs!!!!! They were true professionals!

Don't hesitate, just book and enjoy, the decor is to die for as well, I think I need to redecorate my house based on the Villa!!!!!

What an incredible experience we had in our favourite place on earth .Byron Bay .. . From the moment I contacted Tanya and the team at destination Byron Bay in June 2020 right up to our stay during Xmas and through out and also after our mass exodus back to Melbourne via Queensland due to Victoria and new it’s new unforseen restrictions being implemented .. Tanya has been there to support us .... I wanted to surprise my girl on an anniversary stay in Byron bay through Xmas and our top floor apartment across the Road from Byron bay beach did exactely that .I . impressed my girl and we celebrated our wonderful anniversary Xmas and New Years .. we had to suddenly cut short our stay due to new Melbourne restrictions.. so Tanya without a second thought quickly re booked our apartment the following day and so we could get the days we cancelled refunded and she did just that .. in these uncertain times having someone like destination Byron as a point of call when wanting to escape the madness of this crazy is a blessing 💜 to say the least . The place was wonderful exactly what they said it would be . The place was immaculate .. the service was professional . I think the best part of it is that you are dealing with one person who is passionate and true to her words.. for me it was always going to be a difficult holiday to fund since my work had dropped due to covid but I wanted to give my girl a Xmas she would not forget and Tanya really helped me make this dream come true .. her patience her effeciency her understanding and just so easy for me to communicate. To get this Xmas exactely how I wanted it to be .. again even after we were told by Victoria we need to return ASAP she helped out making our early exit as smooth as possible . Thankyou again Tanya .. for making our favourite place in the world even better because we now have someone to help find that special place every time we visit Byron bay . Cannot wait until my next return in June 2021. Hopefully restrictions will be a thing of the past and can continue to call my future home Byron my favourite destination . In the world . AVOID AVOID AVOID!

Horrible experience, the lady running it all, Tanya, has no clue, no ability to fix a problem caused by herself and worst of all, no capability to accept any fault.

I'm sure there are some people who have had decent experiences through this company but do yourself a favour and just book an Air B&B, save yourself the hassle of dealing with this lot.

If I could give negative stars I would.
