SOOOO many great things to say about Erin. She was very responsive & helpful, which are the main requirements you would want from a wedding planner. But there are many ways in which she went above & beyond those requirements, examples below:
- Erin had a very calming energy, while also being firm when she needed to be--this was absolutely the right balance that we needed to keep us grounded.
- Small, but needed - - she gave us gentle nudges when we missed an email or two needing our response, making sure nothing got dropped leading up to the wedding!
- She managed all comms with our vendors at least a month out, which helped keep us sane, so we could focus on other items.
- She was very organized & joined as many meetings as she could with our other vendors--she kept note of items discussed & made sure they aligned with our timelines.
- We really did let go of the planning on the day of, a "trust fall" if you will, and let Erin & the other vendors take the reins. I'm so glad we did, since they did such a fantastic job and we could finally just enjoy ourselves & spend time with friends & family.
- POST-wedding, when something went wrong with one of our vendors, she helped guide us on tracking down the right resolution. Would not hesitate to use Designed & Detailed, they were wonderful to work with!

I am the owner of Moving N Grooving DJs and I had the pleasure of working a wedding this past weekend with Erin and her team at a private residence. They were fantastic to work with! Often times I feel that "day of coordinators" are not necessary at most events I play. This event was different and they were a BIG help!

This was a backyard DIY event with A LOT of moving parts and a ton of vendors. On the day of I was relieved that Erin and her team were in place!!! She even had to talk me off the ledge at one point because things were constantly changing from the original timeline.

I highly recommend them and would love to work with Erin again. She did a fantastic job keeping everything organized and fluid!

Holy COW, working with Alison was a dream. She was there for every question and concern we had and helped to ease the wedding planning anxiety. She was so organized and gave us so many great tools and tips to make sure that everything was happening smoothly throughout the process. From the larger scale projects to the most minuscule of details, Alison was there to help. Day of, she was everything. As the bride, I walked STRAIGHT through mud and within minutes Alison was helping get everything cleaned up and making sure I was all set to go. We had nothing but compliments from guests talking about how seamless and timely of a wedding we had and all of that is because of Alison and the Designed and Detailed team. Thank you SO much for everything you did to make sure our day was nothing short of perfect.

Allison was extremely professional and organized and felt in her hands our experience would have been different. However, we worked with Cydnei for our wedding, and while the event ultimately came together, there were several areas where the experience could have been improved.

Cydnei did handle the essential aspects of her job, ensuring the day moved along as planned, but there were noticeable gaps in communication throughout the planning process. Responses were often delayed or unclear, which added some unnecessary stress in the weeks leading up to the wedding.

Additionally, we found that attention to detail and organization were lacking at times, which led to a few minor hiccups on the wedding day, resulting in the Maid of Honor being pulled away to handle these details that should have been completed prior to the wedding. While these issues didn’t detract significantly from the celebration, they could have been avoided with more thorough preparation and oversight.

That said, Cydnei was kind and professional on the day of the wedding, and she worked hard to keep things on schedule. With improvements in communication and organization, we believe she could provide a much stronger client experience.

We highly recommend having a coordinator to help with day-of (and month-of) logistics. As a couple, we’re both very good planners. We felt confident that when it came to planning our perfect wedding, we had it all under control. However, we also knew that we wanted to be able to relax and enjoy the day as it was happening, so hiring a coordinator was a no-brainer for us. Designed & Detailed, specifically our coordinator Erin, was an excellent choice. In the months/weeks leading up to the wedding, we were so happy to have a partner who really knew what they were doing to ensure no detail was unaccounted for. And when we had a hiccup that was out of our control on our wedding day Erin kept her cool and helped us stay calm as the situation was resolved. No one else ever noticed anything went wrong. Thank you so much for everything, Erin!

They thought of every detail and for the service level they provide the price is way more than fair. Erin the team laid a foundation for us to successfully host a wedding and I can confidently say, planning a wedding is no small feat. Erin provided us with endless amounts of insight and knowledge about the industry and we're so grateful for all her expertise! Erin & Cydnei really showed up on the day and they both had calm, cool & collected energy which means a lot when weddings can be already emotional and stressful. We truly didn't comprehend the caliber of wedding we were hosting and Erin & Cydnei were absolute rockstars throughout the day!
