We did a drive through overnight. Easy check in and out and amenities old but clean and lit well. Positioned at the top of a small steep hill which may be an issue for some elderly. The toilet block did smell a bit like sheep for some reason? It was positioned near a highway and bridge which made it quite noisy. Being a lighter sleeper I wouldn’t stay again because of that. You can see the bridge on the edge of my photo taken close to our van. The service station next to the park closed about 8:30pm. Access to the park via the service station service road. Big park and playground there for the kids.

Great tranquil park. We had to make a sudden change of our plan due to caravan electrical issues, was able to get a powered site. The park is beautiful and peaceful. Long term residents were very friendly and facilities are very clean.

Love this park! We only stopped for an overnight stay but it was the BIGGEST, FLATTEST, drive-through site we have ever had!
First time we haven't had to unhook in order to level our van. We only have a 16ft but there was plenty of room for our 2nd vehicle. These drive-through spots would fit 5th wheelers.
We we also right near the river and far enough from the freeway for a bit of quiet.

Toilets were clean and well appointed .

Just a navigation note if you're travelling south.... just before you reach the park you'll come across a roundabout...turn right at the roundabout then use the service lane out the front of the Service Station to get to the park.

The sites are great if youre in a caravan, not so great for a camper trailer. Old school keys on toilets, so don't lose a let our they'll sing you $30 for it. A simple upgrade would make this easier for all.

Clean and tidy however which is great. Location on the river is nice.

The concrete pad was useful given how wet it was.

Nice location beside the river. We stayed in a one bedroom cabin (Cabin D). The cabin was neat and tidy but was minimalistic, particularly in relation to what was supplied in the bathroom.
Also, disappointingly some of the cups and cutlery were dirty.
Even though it was quite economical to book there, we probably would not return.

What a wonderful spot on the beautiful Dawson river. Saw dolphin yesterday. |Not a problem with noise from the bridge traffic. Felt very safe as a solo traveler as the park is well lit at night. |Doesn’t matter if the amenities are a bit old as long as they are clean and these are with lovely hot showers. |Travelling with two dogs who were made welcome. Many travellers stayed last night. |I recommend a stop here and make sure you visit the volunteer craft shop next to the ampol servo. For Devonshire Tea.
