Recently on our Hunter Valley girls weekend we spent Saturday on Dave’s ‘Taste of The Hunter’ wine tour. We picked it for two reasons: 1. It promised 3 wine tasting stops, plus a distillery tasting AND included chocolate and cheese tastings. On other tours I’ve found myself hunting and gathering, battling it out for scraps of samples at cheese and chocolate shops.
2. Dave sounds like a good guy right?! A Dave wouldn’t let you down.

And he didn’t. We enjoyed all of our tasting stops, a pizza lunch and collected a huge stash of wine to take home with us by the end of the day. A fabulous and fun day all in all!

Would highly recommend this tour. Chris was a fantastic guide and the selection of wineries err great. Especially enjoyed the chocolate and wine pairing. Learnt a lot on this tour!

Fantastic tour hosted by Erin. Wine country, gin tasting, and a lunch of pizza and wine was wonderful. We were surrounded by a great group of people from all over the world, and all the wineries were a joy. When you visit Australia, be sure to book an excursion with Dave's Tours and have a blast.

Great small group tour. 3 wineries with cheese and chocolate pairing. Also included lunch which was excellent. We lucked out. Even a stop at a distillery to sample gin, vodka and liqueurs. Collins was a great driver and tour guide. It’s a long 2 hr drive out and back depending on traffic. Van can be a little uncomfortable depending on your seat. But overall I’d definitely use Dave’s Tours again. A great way to spend the day.

Had a great time visiting Hunter Valley with Collin/Cole yesterday. We got the chance to visit some awesome boutique wineries and taste their offerings, try unique glittery spirits from a small distillery and had fantastic pizza for lunch. Cole was punctual with pickup and broke the ice for our diverse group of attendees. He was also very nice and easy to talk to. He answered a lot of questions regarding the wine region, wineries, seasonal changes affecting the wine making process and even a bunch of random topics about Australia for us first time visitors. I recommend this tour to anyone in Sydney who wants to spend a day in the hunter valley without the stress of driving themselves or having to limit their fun. Very well organized.
