Once these people get a hold of ya, they pester the hell out of you. They wont take NO for answer, its suppost to be voluntary. They make appointments without even asking. I had to get a family member to demand they stop harassing me. Please be careful with this service people, only go with them if 100% have no other choice.

If you have a driver's license & you care about it, don't come here as they can threaten & will have your license taken from you when you're just trying to seek help. Aside from that, I couldn't recommend DASSA more highly as the place truly does save lives & the staff go above & beyond.

I have just left DASSA Glenside due to several personal issues. Upon admission I was in a very, very bad way however their professional approach and attitude knows no bounds. Every single staff member went out of there way to help me. All staff are extremely professional and friendly. I wouldn't wish that anyone have serious issues so as to attend Glenside, however if you are sick and travelling rough, you couldn't be in better hands. I have so much respect for Glenside / SA Health - they should be proud of the professional services they provide.

Lovely staff and support- it takes a bit of time but don't forget they are giving time for full time care. Don't give up- it may take a bit of time and a safe environment with everything provided in your mental state and nutrition recovery. Only thing is to get rid of the BWS across lol- that has tripped so many up /wink.

Had a very horrible experience with this place. Was booked in on a Monday for a 5 day stay detoxing from alcohol. I received a text message 2 hours prior to admission saying my stay had been canceled. Called them to ask when I could rebook my stay and Didn’t receive a phone call back till the following day. They then re-booked me in for Thursday (3 days later) ..as I had stopped drinking a few days before the Monday I was supposed to arrive they would not allow me to stay on the Thursday as I had not had a drink in 6 days they said I would of needed to have had a drink within a day or two before Thursday to be admitted! I genuinely needed help with my withdrawals and my mindset and I was pushed away as if they didn’t care. I was shocked at the lack of professionalism in this place, The lady I had spoke to on the Wednesday the day before my arrival asked when my last drink was and I had told her “5 days ago” she then replied “that’s great well done we will see you tomorrow”. Absolute waste of time and energy wouldn’t recommend this place from my experience at all.

Caring, helpful & friendly staff who I genuinely felt were concerned about my and others welfare. A hard place to get ones head around, and requires commitment and strength beyond strength. But if it is at all possible, this is the crowd to do it with.

3 time lucky I did it great staff very friendly just don't share a room n make sure u watch the washing machine alot of thieves here
