Where to begin...may as well start at the beginning when I bought a Holiday Package from Darp Travels and my Agent was Alex. At this point I have to say Alex was AMAZING to deal with...I seriously didn't make his job easy by changing things a list long. He always replied to my emails at a timely fashion, when I'm sure his finger hovered over the delete button. hahaha Credit where credit is due he deserves a 5 Star just for that. Great price for what we got , NZD$1200 Return Airfares Auckland to Bali, 7 Nights Accommodation, Buffet Breakfast & Airport Transfers.

BALI ...Everything about it had the WOW FACTOR!!

Food was absolutely divine especially the Breakfast. If you couldn't find something at the outstanding Buffet to wet your appetite then chances are good you probably complain about everything...Always has to be a Mr & Mrs Debbie Downer among us hahaha. Having a Restaurant in the Hotel was a bonus. We ate a majority of our dinners there and found it to be very reasonably priced (didn't need lunch because breakfast was so filling)

The SPA...Highly recommend the Foot Reflexology, got to keep those feet happy for all the walking they do at the Markets while your Bartering 🙂

Swimming Pool was another A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. feature at Ramada Encore. My only tiny winy thing I would say is PLEASE don't allow guest to drink in the Pool. If the Glass was to smash that would close the Pool down until it was guaranteed all the glass was picked up and it's also not a good look for the children to see.

Our Room...FANTASTIC!! Alex worked his magic and got us a upgrade to a Balcony Room on the 2nd Floor overlooking the Pool. Super King Bed. I needed a mega phone to yell out goodnight to my hubby hahaha Outdoor Lounger which was great for unwinding at the end of the day and a creature of habit I always make my bed but despite this the maids came in and remade it...they were so great.

Nothing was a problem at Ramada Encore. I would certainly highly recommend it and come back time and time again 🙂

Markets...WOW WOW WOW. We met a couple that didn't know how to barter, felt for them haha Not only is Bartering an Adrenalin rush it's so much fun, should be an Olympic Sport...I would be a contender for the crown 🙂 Of course everything with a label is a knock off but who cares...for some of my whanau back here in NZ they would be wrapped to get a pair of Nikes or a Billabong singlet....so all good.

The People...Back home we have a saying:

He Tangata He Tangata He Tangata. Roughly translated it means.
'What is the most important thing in the world, it is The People, The People, The People.

Such gently spoken people who were always happy to make your visit a wonderful experience so be gentle back and be KIND...it's free PEACE!

AVOID USING!!! We purchased a travel voucher which included flights, accommodation and meals etc. They booked everything sent tickets etc, everything was fine until we went to check out. The accommodation advised that Darp Travel could not locate our payment and we needed to pay before leaving. They said Darp had tried to take payment from our Credit Card and it declined. We had paid for everything back in July!!! We had an early morning flight our taxi was waiting for us while we tried to check out when the accommodation was demanding payment. I have emailed Darp Travel to try and sort this as when we were checking out they were not open and so far no response. Extremely Disappointed, seems like they just wanted to keep our money and try make us pay again, we were extremely lucky that the accommodation let us leave and that we didn't miss our flight.

We had booked our Puket Thailand holiday with Sam .He tailored the perfect trip according to our requirements .He always willing to take the time to discuss our concerns and respond our questions.Hotel we stayed in Puket was fabulous.kids really enjoyed .Highly recommended this travel agent.They have extensive knowledge of the loations and have ability to change an itinerary to suit our preferred dates.

We have booked an upcoming trip with DARP and have paid almost $6,000. No receipt. Stopped responding to our calls. we have been trying to contact you for days now with no sign of any answers. DO NOT PAY THIS COMPANY A CENT OF YOUR MONEY. They will steal your money and leave you hanging with no communication. We have reported you to the necessary authorities. I hope no one else falls victim to your fraudulent activity

Bought a package through GrabOne - got in contact with Darp Travels after paying. Started out agreeing on the dates and times. Asked for confirmation on flights / accommodation and received no response for 2 and a half weeks despite multiple follow ups. Eventually had to dispute this and get a refund (through GrabOne as DarpTravels refused to reply to me). I believe DarpTravels lied about booking the flights / accommodation and tried to take off with the money. I absolutely do NOT recommend using them. Awful travel agency.

We had a great trip to Queenstown. The staff at Darp travels were responsive and very accommodating. At one point the emails went to my spam so I missed some communication, but they patiently sent it through again, and there were no issues with the trip. I would definitely recommend booking with this company.
