Following a few visits to the restaurant and absolutely fantastic overall experience dining in, we had Darbar to cater for a small home function (25 people). They did it again at this scale providing us with an amazing experience. Punctual, professional set up, and great variety of ample food! The owner/manager, Depak and his chef (Amar?) walked us through the journey of choosing the right menu to the event and recommending the quantity. The function ended up being a real 'Darbar' - thanks folks. look forward to dining in again soon!

Three of us came for dinner on a Sunday night. The food was very nice, however we did have to wait a bit for the order to arrive and there were 4 tables with customers. I'd recommend booking next time, so they are aware of the numbers. We will visit again and recommend to try their nice food

First time we are visiting Canberra… we had a very worst experience from this restaurant … Owner of the Restaurant was really good manipulator.. We ordered a family pack biriyani it was mentioned that it sufficient to 4-6 people but we went three and they have given family pack in small bowl .. exactly comes for two people and saying that family pack. I have called owner immediately he offered after you finish your food I will give you the balance food for take away and after we eat then he changed his words and telling us that was only which we offer for 70$ .. he literally bluffed us .. I will add the picture below of the quantity and coming to quality the food taste like 2 days back cooked food and just heat now in oven and given to us like a fresh food …

This was our first time ordering from Darbar, and we were thrilled with the experience. Despite being in Cotter Dam, where there is no network, they delivered the food for my daughter’s birthday, and it arrived hot and ready to eat! The variety was incredible, with a mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian starters and mains that were absolutely delicious. Everyone, from ages 8 to 75, enjoyed the food and couldn’t stop praising it.

Thank you, Darbar, for making our celebration so special. We will definitely be ordering again!

The worst aloo paratha every had in our entire life. Were craving for aloo paratha and order four of them for takeaway. The flavour was so bland not even seasoned well and forget about spices. And look how burnt is that paratha couldn’t even eat it.
Also ordered chicken chat pat described as chicken with mystery sauce turned out regular chicken curry with some curry leaves.
Very disappointed with parathas.

After we came out of Bentspoke around 8:30PM most of the restaurants were closed nearby and our plan of trying Italian at Chez went for a toss and this was the only restaurant who agreed to give a takeaway.
Special thanks to the chef Sandeep for such a tasty food in quick time and it was spicy as well. Must try Indian restaurant in Canberra.
