Lou & Ross lead my 11 year old on her first trail ride. After 4 lessons in an arena it was a great learning curve for her to understand what a horse is like in a different environment. They had plenty of tips for her and me too having not ridden for 20 years. Mostly walking and a little trotting along the way. Perfect introduction for my daughter.

I treated myself for my birthday to a trail ride and had a wonderful time! We mostly did some walking, but little bit of trotting and a tiny bit of cantering!

$60 for an hour, easy access plenty of parking. Min 12 years old. The only thing I rate it at 4 instead of 5 is the ride was slow, my DD got paid up with some first timers which squirm at any movement so the ride kept stopping every few minutes. Would have been ok i they let my DD do 2 hours of riding but they only allow her to do one hour ago she spent one third of the time holding her horse still. Only got to trot about 5 minutes all up. The rest of the time just either slow walk or stop. You have to go with the pick of luck who you are stuck with on the day. Sort of a pot luck thing and my DD really want to be able to canter at least one part of the ride. Also it was not a full hour. They supposed to start at 1:30, they finally left at 1:53 and came back 2:49.

The girls are lovely but a bit over kill to have 2 guides with 4 riders. But they are lovely.

I come riding here most Sunday’s and can’t recommend it enough. Louise, Ross and the team are so knowledgeable and friendly, they have helped me so much with my riding. Such well looked after horses and stunning trails to ride on.

The place is far from city life. In the middle of forset, mountain, nature. A must experience place to visit. They have fixed time.
Horses are trained, also can request for better one (we came to know later). We had 1 hr / $70.
I got Voly who loved grass so they said be bossy to him. I don't know if I did well or not. Still first time experience fun.

Helper are kind, sweet lovely, Btw still waiting for their video upload. Hope get it soon.

PS: 1)Have cash.2) May hurt next day in lower body 3) wear jeans n shoes 4) if rainy get coats 5) No washroom.
