We highly recommend Custom Churchill Tours! Brendan is a warm, hospitable, easy-going person who offers an excellent beluga whale tour along with a trip to Fort Prince of Wales. Brendan picked up my spouse & I, and our two 19 year old grandsons at our accommodation and following the tour dropped us at our location of choice. The tour of Fort Prince of Wales is provided by Parks Canada (Thanks you Fiona!), but you need a tour provider to get you there. Brendan knows his belugas and was more than willing to share his extensive knowledge of them, his love of Churchill, and his passion for the community and the wildlife! We even got an extra half hour to engage with the belugas, including listening to them converse with each other via Brendan’s hydrophone! Thank you Brendan!

This is a wonderful boat tour for seeing the beluga whales. You can choose a low tide or high tide tour. There are also options of seeing the whales and then meeting up with Parks Canada employees for a tour of Prince of Whales Fort, or just spend two hours with the whales.

Brendan is an amazing tour guide host. You can tell that he really enjoys what he does. He greets his guests and then introduces everyone that is going on the tour.

The whales love to follow the boat. They enjoy the rush of water from the propeller as it gives them a "massage". The belugas swim right up to and under the boat, giving guests excellent photo opportunities. It really is wonderful seeing the parents who are bright white and their young offspring who are dark grey swimming together and curiously checking out the boat.

This is a great tour. I signed up for the one hour tour and then the fort tour. I am glad that I took the opportunity to take this adventure. Check out Customchurchilltours.com for more information and prices.

We spent a week in Churchill and took tours from several operators but our time on the water with Brendan at Custom Churchill Tours was far and away the highlight of our trip. His hospitality and knowledge are unparalleled, and his boat is a much more spacious and comfortable platform for photography than the zodiacs used by other companies. Wanted to comment on the great beluga whale tour we had with Brendan on our trip to Churchill. We saw plenty of whales dancing around our boat, and showing off with their babies. We were also treated to some awesome polar bear sightings on the rocks Brendan took us over to. We got many wonderful pictures from a safe distance in the boat. Brendan was careful to respect these magnificent animals by not staying for too long taking pictures and then by leaving them to be. Thank you Brendan!

Highly recommend Custom Churchill. We enjoyed two separte beluga tours with Brendan during our recent visit to Churchill. He was very accomdating, well versed in the local beluga population, as well as most things Churchill, and offered ample opportunities for photography.
He runs a larger traditional boat instead of an inflatable (zodiac). We found it much easier for seating, photography, movement within the boat, etc.
