Michael and his team renovated my bathroom recently. It was a seamless transformation from an impoverished looking outdated room with a paucity of style. Now it is an absolute pleasure to walk into. Michael and his team have totally transformed my gaudy old bathroom to an outstandingly beautiful feature oozing modernality. Simply the best in the business. Culburra Kitchens have just completed a major renovation to our house. This included the bathroom, kitchen, laundry, a small built in display cabinet, a very large built in display cabinet and new flooring (in our kitchen, hallway, foyer, and bathroom). The work involved gutting and removing some walls in the bathroom, kitchen, and laundry. Plus removing the previous flooring, which was a bit more challenging than anticipated.

We got our plans/quotes in February. Michael (owner) listened to what we wanted. He provided thoughtful, relevant advice and was transparent and clear in his communication; and this was reflected in the plans. Then COVID-19 hit. We put things on hold then in June (4 months later) we contacted Michael that we wanted to still go ahead and to redo the quotes. Michael did not change his pricing even though his quote/s state they were valid for only 3 months.

Michael’s building team was FANTASTIC. Donna in the office was fantastic when I went in to do our selections. Michael and his crew were thoughtful, polite, and considerate but EXTREMELY hard working. The contractors that work with Culburra Kitchens were fantastic; Michael’s coordination of these contractors was thorough and smooth. Everyone’s work was excellent and professional. There were only a few hiccups, but these were mostly not the fault of Culburra Kitchens or they were so fussy that some items had to be re-done as they were not happy with the quality. I see this as a positive.

The results are fantastic. We highly recommend Culburra Kitchens. We will use Culburra Kitchens if we require more renovations in the future.

I had the misfortune today to have dealings with the owner of this company and I can honestly say that, as a customer, I have never been treated so rudely by any businessman that I’ve ever dealt with before. I had ordered a free standing cupboard complete and when I went to collect it the kick board wasn’t attached so therefore it was not a completed item. I had also requested on ordering that they would attach a handle that I would supply. This was agreed then denied when I came to pick up. I asked for the kick board to be attached but the owner, Michael Martin told me his workers were all out and he didn’t know when they’d be back. I asked him if he would do it and he replied that he wouldn’t. When I complained that it wasn’t fit for purpose he became angry and tried to grab a shelf from my hand saying he’d give me my money back. I told him I needed it to complete a project today. He swore at me using “F” words everywhere. When I told him I would never deal with him again his response was…”Couldn’t give a S#*T!” Be careful when dealing with this arrogant builder! His attitude is terrible and the workmanship is second rate. I have to give it a 1 star rating because this site won’t allow a 0 star rating.

So glad to have Culburra Kitchens and Bathrooms renovate my kitchen. Michael's design for my small units kitchen allowed for me to fit in everything I need and want. Love that I have a dishwasher, wall oven with microwave, pot drawers and a shallow pantry in a clever spot I would not of thought of.
