2nd stage of our 4month holiday and Cruise, Hotel, Flight home arranged by Cruiseaway Dreamline consultant Debra Bond.
Cruise-fantastic! Hotel Accomodation-terrible! Hotel Tower. Photos included show what we are looking at from our window Room 118. No Fridge; No aircon; 2 out of 4 lifts working & had to take stairs which went all over the place. Maintence/renovations occurring - told expect noise. No warning a marathon was on and it was difficult to get to hotel and this added to the time it took to get to hotel. Hotel advised Marathon date has been in place for a year! Yet we were never told. Room clean but view from our big window was awful - see photos. Had to have curtains closed. Had medication to put in fridge which hotel placed in their fridge and we need to attend desk to get each time we need it. After a phone call staff placed a cooler in our room for our stay. Would not stay here again. Be aware!

We booked a Celebrity Edge cruise to Hawaii online with Natalie Stockley from Cruiseaway. As soon as Natalie secured the booking and payment she did not want anything to do with any queries we had. She promised to get back to me, she didn’t. I would call her, her colleagues or would say she was out of the office, and will her to call back, she didn’t!
We were sent to the cheapest and lowest star hotel in Hawaii. It was a shock to the system after finishing our luxury cruise and ending up there! I will never book another cruise through this company. I was not the only one who was very disappointed in our treatment and the hotel.

Misrepresentation by sales team. Family and i booked a Wiggles cruise only to find out Wiggles were not on board. I produced all documentation provided to me which only mentioned Wiggles not wiggly friends. I asked for a refund of my initial deposit they said No. I asked for the deposit to be transferred o ver to another cruise due to the misrepresentation they said no. I asked to speak to a supervisor they said no. Company would not enter into any direct conversation other than via email. Extremely poor service. Would not recommend them at all and I’d check pricing and what exactly you’re getting. Very dishonest company.

Spent a good amount of money on a land & cruise package to Japan. Arrived to find out it was not a Helen Wong tour instead it was a tripadeal. It was a debacle!!!! Very unorganised, no food stops for lunch or dinner, a tour guide that rushed each stop & gave us no information, hotels that were in the middle of suburbia or industrial areas and no transfers from the ship to airport. As well as incorrect information about direct flights from Brisbane. Would not recommend this company to anyone.

Extremely disappointed with the service we paid and were quoted for a package on a cruise but some of our group were not given this. Wasted a whole day trying to resolve which dampened our whole cruise experience
Cruiseaway have lost 7 clients not that they care as we are merely treated like pebbles in their shoes.
We will be taking further action.

To be honest reading these reviews were frightening... However my experience is very different im so glad Drew is my agent... He is extremely knowledgeable answered all of my questions and gave incredible insight on the Norewegian Viva.
To be honest I loved dealing with Drew so much that my single booking has now gone to a group booking with my friends and family booking with Drew also...

Don’t book your cruise with Cruiseaway. They get you in with their initial friendliness while getting quote & then booking - however, read their fine print after you’ve made the booking. It changes from what you thought you’d booked.

Then they won’t honour the original booking deal even with emails showing the deal you paid for. Then they are no longer friendly or as contactable.

We booked 3 balcony cabins that had $300 each cabin credit - which wasn’t honoured after a long battle before cruising.

Stay clear of Cruiseaway!

Don’t use them. Just do it yourself. Lack of travel booking knowledge, lack experience and professionalism was my recent experience. They are an online only business with no office. Slow to reply to emails. Long wait on phone calls. Lack of coherent communication and customer service skills. Very disappointed. I won’t use them again and I don’t recommend using them. I should have read the reviews first.
