Great pub food, reasonable prices, fast service.
Steak was cooked perfectly, accompanying garlic prawns was nice, addition pepper sauce for the chips was a good flavour.
Nice to actually get the sized steak that was specified on the menu when I ordered.
Eaten at too many pubs that say 350g steak and it would be lucky to be 250g.

I just attended a friend's birthday dinner at the hotel. I didn't have much expectation but I was pleasantly surprised by the standards of the service, the quality of the food (fresh and tasty, veggies were a bit soft but this means friendly for my senior citizen friends), also the nice pinot noir I had.

The concierge was welcoming and friendly as we arrived. Quite a nice steak sandwich, the grilled barramundi with vegetables was fresh but plain. Seating arrangements were quite good and pleasant atmosphere.

This is a photo of a medium steak that has come back from a second cook on the grill.
I think the chefs need a lesson is cooking steaks that for sure. Looks like it been on for about 1 minute each side, this is one of 4 steaks that it happened to and seems to be on ongoing occurrence here. Staff are great and friendly, though there is consistent issues with incorrect food here.

Everyone was great. Except the African security guard, what a horrible experience, I'd been there for an hour and he just started and was just disrespectful and rude. Bar staff were cool. This guy has to go.

This was the only place with the kitchen open after 3 pm. The good thing is that they provide a special price to seniors. The food was alright but it wasn’t really outstanding. They did have a live band when we arrived and a big casino in the ground floor. Overall, we were grateful to have a place to eat, but I probably wouldn’t go back.

Today being mothers day I had to work a morning shift. My son booked a table 3 days ago for dinner. We had a great meal food was amazing. Staff looked after us. Thank you crown hotel. I have been many times over the last 27 years on many different occasions and celebrations.
