Me and my husband recently had our wedding reception at Churchill island, I just want to say a HUGE thank you to each and every single staff member that worked our reception on the 14.1.23, you guys were absolutely incredible and a pleasure to work with, everything was set up beautifully and nothing was too much trouble, the staff were lovely and we're genuinely so much fun. Thank you so much guys, you are awesome!

Shocking service and totally over expensive. $24 for 2 bowls of frozen commercial chips. No coordination between everything. 1 young girl on counter in cafe, queue long and hopeless. Restaurant itself expensive service nil. One guy serving and is rude. I would not recommend anyone coming here. 20 minutes and waiting for the $24 chips

We were married in February 2015, and held our reception at the Newport Substation with the catering managed by Create. We were actually introduced to Create by the venue (which had a list of approved caterer’s) and after a bit of correspondence we decided to lock the team in. We found Create very easy to work with as we worked through the food and drink options, and were fortunate to have a pre-tasting which really helped guide our thoughts about entree / main choices. The kitchen team was very accommodating, and after the tasting kindly agreed to switch one or two things around by request. Rebecca from Create did a great job managing the set up on the day, and everything went super smoothly on the night. The food went down a treat, the drinks refreshing and the staff were all really good. We really could not have been happier. As it turned out, the pre-existing relationship between Create and the Substation was beneficial, because they already had worked together and Create knew how to operate in the space available to them, but I’m sure the magic can be recreated anywhere. Thanks Create!
