Did the Overland over seven days and these guys made transport easy!
Had two amazing drivers (Michael and Pat) from Launceston to Cradle mountain visitor centre and then from Lake St Clair visitor centre to Hobart.
Pick up was punctual and transport easily identifiable.
Learnt lots from these amazing humans!
They stored our baggage well and arranged for our baggage to be returned at the end of our trip. Also picked us up from and dropped us off to our Airbnbs.
Amazing personal touches.

Excellent service - we had such a great experience travelling with Cradle Mountain Coaches. Special mention for our driver Pat who picked us up from Lake St Clair after we finished the Overland Track - not only was he extremely generous (providing fresh apples & cherries - food that we dreamt of on the trail!) but he was very patient and understood the challenge we'd just completed, ensuring we had absolutely everything we needed for the long drive to Hobart. Thank you Pat! And 10/10 for Cradle Mountain Coaches!

Great service from Terry and Helen. They both went out of their way to accommodate our needs - stopped at Deloraine bakery and ATM, provided fuel for the jet boil and changed pick up dates after we finished our walk early.

I had the pleasure of arranging a transfer to the Walls of Jerusalem over the Easter holiday, and to my surprise, there weren't many out-of-town hikers present, despite the campsite being quite full. Shane, my driver, proved to be incredibly knowledgeable about the area. Along the journey, I learned fascinating historical tidbits, making the trip thoroughly enjoyable. Additionally, Shane made a delightful stop at a famous pie shop in Deloraine, adding to the experience. It truly felt like I had both a tour guide and a transfer all in one.

Fantastic service from Ian and the team at Cradle Mountain Coaches. The bus was on time for both our transfers, the price was reasonable , and we felt safe and at ease with Ian behind the wheel. We had extra time to kill on our return trip to Launceston, so Ian took us on an alternate route and showed us a few gems we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. He also suggested a number of sites to add to our itinerary. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring each and every one of Ian’s suggestions.

As far as I know, the only shuttle service that connects the end of the Overlandtrack at Lake St. Clair back to Cradle Mountain as a DIRECT Service , so without time consuming stop-overs in Hobart or Launceston. Traveltime therefore only 2.5h!
On demand the driver is flexible enough, if you need a coffee or toilet-stop.
I'd give a 5-star rating, if it was not so expensive: $400 for 2 persons
The Coach takes up to 9 people and luggage, so if you are capable to find co-travellers, you can safe money by deviding the $400 / number of travellers and than it is even the cheapest travel alternative from and to Cradle 🙂
