If you like space and privacy then this isn’t the caravan park for you. Overcrowded with vans and people were often impeding other’s space with cars and boats.
Check in wasn’t very professional, helpful regarding the area or friendly.
Power trips out on hot days due to overloading. Many vans running power to vans as well as car fridges and freezers. Urgent upgrade needed so people aren’t fusing fridge’s etc and allow only power to 1 van like other parks.
Showers in need of an upgrade- peeling paint on window sills and very grimy. No soap in bathrooms for at least a day.
Advantages are that it is close to town - shops, hotels etc , the boat ramp and foreshore.
Good camp kitchen and fish cleaning facility.
Price per night is high for what you get compared to many others.

Beautiful park, well located near kids playground and water park
We travelled as a couple with a little dog, checked prices on website before arrival $35 p/n pay for 6 stay for 7. When we got there, they tried to charge $40p/n as they apparently hadn't updated the website (Still haven't)
We booked for a further 4 nights this time they wanted $42p/n
We did get what was on the Website, however we shouldn't have had to ask for it!!
Others that came in after we're charged $45 p/n
Apart from that it's a fantastic place to stay, toilets a bit dated but cleaned daily. Just need to clean the actual cubicles

Nice quiet location, close to the two pubs in Cowell. Facilities a little dated but work fine with ample hot water. Close to boat ramp for easy access for the fishos. Right next to a free water park and jumping pillow for the kids. Majority of the sites are gravel but relatively well maintained.

Pre booked 2 night stay, powered site, 2 adults October. Terrific park, located on the waterfront, easy access gravelled sites and lovely friendly staff. Originally allocated site had the neighbouring guests’ car parked too far over but a quick change okayed by the manager to choose our own, gave us plenty of space away from those who like to spread out.
Amenities are door coded, clean and spacious. Laundry is modern, coin operated and there’s plenty of washing line or a drier.
The park is walking distance to the hotels and supermarket and sits behind the marina, playground and jetty.
We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the park if you’re travelling in the area.

Very pretty spot, can request to be set up away from the kids zone. If travelling with littlies it has everything they’d want. Walking distance to the town, pub closest to the caravan park was great.

The park was nice and had updated kitchen work space and well as location to cook crabs and get bait for free. But the cabin were renovated but old too old to use, further more hot water was dodgy.
