Corinna is just lovely. The wilderness must be protected from logging and mining.|Crossing the Pieman River on Fatman Barge was a lovely introduction to the place and the hotel/reception on the other side was gracious and blended well into the green environment. Check-in was smooth. Our cottage was ready early and we were able to check in immediately. We loved our cottage (No 14 - Webster), which was right at the end and had no neighbouring cottage on one side. Sitting on the deck, having a drink and enjoying the bird song and the trees was special. The Whyte River walk was beautiful. The following day, we did the Pieman River Cruise with Matthew as our skipper and Gay, our host. Morning and afternoon tea were provided and the wraps for lunch (made by Gay) were delicious. Matthew was very knowledgeable and entertaining and provided us with lots of interesting facts about the river and its past inhabitants. Lunch was on the beach at 'Hells Gates', as it is known locally. After the cruise, we did the Huon Pine walk (very easy and short) and continued with the Savage River walk. I can truly recommend Corinna Wilderness Village - it's a special place.

I have been here quite a few times over the years and it has always been a wonderful and welcoming experience. I just love that you can switch off from all the distractions of the internet/social media and spend quality time enjoying tranquil scenery, interacting with people as much or little as you want and bonding with friends. The surrounding landscapes are breathtaking. The staff are knowledgeable and welcoming. The food served in the restaurant is surprisingly good considering its remote location and the bar has a good range of local drinks. Love the activities and the cottages are very warm, clean and comfortable. Corinna resort is a must to visit.

We stayed 2 nights in Pete’s cabin aka the roadhouse. It is very old (1800s!), small, and basic but pretty comfortable with a nice heater and mini fridge. The small double bed had a big dip in the middle so not super comfortable but okay. Corinna makes all their own solar power and water is rain water so there is no internet or mobile phone service. The restaurant and bar are excellent and a very nice place to after a cold day out exploring the heads and hiking. Everyone is very friendly and it has a good feel to it. We went on the river cruise to the heads which was great. Had a good time.

I had visited Corinna on several occasions with my husband and we both loved the peacefulness of the surroundings and friendliness of the staff. I was on holiday with my daughter this time and wanted her to experience it for herself and she loved it as much as we did. We did both the Sweetwater and Arcadia cruises and both never fail to leave a lasting impression. We took away some laughs and some beautiful photos that will stay with us for ever. Thank you everyone at Corinna.

Cottage itself was lovely. The staff were great, food at the restaurant really tasty too.
Enjoyed a couple of the walks, lovely spot.
One big disappointment for all 8 of us was the cold trickling shower. Asked about it and they made excuses like everyone else is having one at the same time, or the pipes are small.
Please do not advertise hot showers when there is no such thing. For $300 per night that should be the basic necessity accounted for.

The water system had changed over to bore water, subsequently we were without water for 24 hours with no communication from management on our arrival. |A big thanks to Donna who went out of her way to secure milk for us! She was a ‘can do’ person! |Overall general communication could be improved and a more convivial atmosphere from the management. A can do approach rather than a rules based regime.

The narrow road from Waratah to Corinna was pretty scary - especially the final unmade 26k which wound through spectacular Tarkine wilderness and over mountains. I kept to a safe slow speed of around 40 or less. The speed limit of 80 was totally inappropriate and some on-coming lunatics seemed to be going that fast. They skidded and swerved around the blind corners when passing us, but luckily we didn't collide.|Corinna is magical. Tastefully etched into the almighty Tarkine wilderness. We took the short Sweetwater cruise on the Pieman River and loved every minute of it. Shane, the skipper kept us entertained and informed for the 1.5 hour trip. We had to return to Waratah that night but would have loved staying at the magical Corinna Wilderness Village. We highly recommend this un-spoilt part of the world!
