The crew, Todd and Quentin, did a great job looking after us aboard 'Coral Sea Dreaming.' They took us to simply stunning spots on the outer reefs to dive and snorkel. I particularly appreciated Todd's gentle encouragement to get in and snorkel, as I was doing it alone as the others on the trip were diving. I'm so pleased that I did! The huge variety of different corals was amazing and the prolific fish life was incredible. I saw a turtle as well as a white tip shark, along with hundreds of brightly coloured fish. I can't recommend this company highly enough! I'm fact, I'm seriously thinking about another trip with them next year! Thanks for everything, guys.

Had an amazing trip aboard Coral Sea Dreaming! Our crew members Quentin and Ivan were incredible! Quentin was very kind and knowledgeable; Ivan took me for my first ever dive and was so calm and caring when I was nervous.
The view of the stars and moon during the night on the reef was beautiful!
Since I was on the boat for 2 days, I got to really connect and make friendships with the other passengers. I suggest bringing a card game to share and play!

Recently did the overnight trip with Coral Sea Dreaming, where they took us to several remote spots on the reef, meaning we were the only boat to snorkel/dive those areas. The crew of Sam, Ivan & Quentin were fantastic, providing top knowledge of the reef & surrounding areas, aswell as tasty meals and snacks throughout the day! The coral was so colourful & housed hundreds of species of fish, aswell as a reef shark! We also saw some dolphins on the way back! We would highly recommended using Coral Sea Dreaming for your Great Barrier Reef trip!

Had an unforgettable one-night liveaboard trip to the Great Barrier Reef with Coral Sea Dreaming! We did 5 dives in total — all at stunning dive sites with great visibility, quality equipment, and experienced dive guides.

Quinten, our dive guide, was super helpful, fun, and always made us feel safe and excited to explore the reef.

Imma was not only an amazing chef (every meal was delicious!) but also a fantastic intro dive instructor. She helped my friend dive for the very first time — and made the experience smooth and enjoyable.

And of course, Captain Gary! He always made sure we were safe after every dive, kept the good vibes going with music while sailing, and made the whole boat feel like home.

Highly recommend this trip for anyone looking to experience the Great Barrier Reef in a personal, friendly, and adventure-packed way!

The crew were really kind and caring. Quentin was very knowledgeable and a great diving leader, always checking in on us and giving great tips.
Ivan was very kind and friendly. Even though I didn't dive with him, I got to socialise with him and the rest of the group in the evenings, and he would always check in on me when I was feeling sea sick!
I enjoyed the overnight aspect a lot as we got to bond as a group and make stronger connections - we will be staying it touch with the other people who were on our boat, thats for sure!

We had an incredible time snorkeling and diving with Coral Sea Dreaming! The entire experience was great, from communication before the trip to the staff on the boat to, of course most importantly, the snorkeling and diving. We did the intro scuba dive and got to do about a 30 minute dive with one of the crew. It was my first time scuba diving, and I felt very safe and prepared. Besides the one scuba dive, we snorkeled at the three other sites, and the snorkeling was also amazing! The reef is not very deep (maybe 4 to 10 feet below you), and the water is very clear, so it is great for snorkeling also. The reef had the most diverse and beautiful fish and coral I have ever seen!! We had about an hour in the water at each site, and I never felt rushed. On the boat, there were 12 passengers, one captain, and 2 crew / scuba instructors. The boat is older but very well maintained and clean. The crew and captain were great, relaxed, fun, and very knowledgeable. The food was basic but very good, and there was plenty of food between meals and snacks. Water is also provided, and then there is a small extra charge for sodas, beer, and wine.

Just a few things that I would have liked to know ahead of time:
1. When scuba diving, you cannot fly for 24 hours after your last dive. Since this was our first time scuba diving, we did not know this when booking our flight, so we were only able to dive the first day.
2. There are two crew / scuba instructors on board - one goes with the certified divers, and one goes with the intro divers. They only take two intro divers at once for safety reasons (which totally makes sense and made me feel more safe), but that means depending on how many other intro divers there are on board, you may only get to dive once. None of the intro divers on our trip had the opportunity to add another dive because there were too many people doing intro dives.
3. The exact reefs you go to and itinerary depend on the weather, and this often changes in the moment.
4. The night dive is only for certified divers. You cannot do it as an intro diver.

Overall, we had an amazing time, and I absolutely would go again!

Had such a great experience! The crew were all excellent and made sure we had the best time. The food they prepared was also all really good. We got to see the most amazing views of the reef snorkeling and scuba diving. Ivan was the best guide for the intro diving! He made us feel safe and pointed out some of the cool marine life we passed while we were diving. I also really enjoyed relaxing on the hammock rocking with the swells while we sailed. Highly recommend!

Best crew on the reef!!

Gary, Curtis and Quentin were absolutely wonderful and incredibly accommodating. The yacht was comfy with enough seating and comfy bunks for both couples and singles. Everyone who chose the tour was also really kind and like-minded, the smaller group sizes was great because we all had a chance to get to know one another.

I was snorkelling and we had a total of six sessions over 24hrs which was epic. We anchored off a Kay and got to observe some nesting Boobie Birds which was really special.
The reef was healthy, vibrant, with more fish than I could count, including lots of turtles and a reef shark or two.

Although it was forecasted for rainy we had lots of nice weather and when a squall came in at night the crew were calm and it was amazing to see the wind and rain roll in!

All in all an amazing experience, highly recommend, Gary is a particularly knowledgeable captain and the boys were great.
