I had the most beautiful wedding held at Coorabell Estate - It was the best time of my life. The house is fabulous and the green countryside around it makes all the difference. We held our elopement/microwedding at Coorabell Estate and what a perfect stay. We enjoyed the home with our close friends and family (us + 8 guests). Home has it all - spacious layout, mountain views, pool, plus so much more. Great grounds surround this property, perfect for our wedding photos and ceremony. Would highly recommend.

The estate and house are located in a small valley with gorgeous views and surrounded by tranquility and nature.
The service for arrival and departures were on point and our group of friends had a ball.
Well located between Byron, Ballina, Mullumbimby, Brunswick Heads and Bangalow. What more could you ask for.

Coorabell Estate is the perfect place for a quiet getaway. Eight of us settled in quickly and found our own spaces. Adults on the huge verandah with a nice glass of red, one group of older teens went exploring the grounds, discovering the creek. another group just set up in the lounge after discovering the vinyl collection. We went in the middle of a cold winter, but every evening we closed the place up and it gets nice and warm inside quickly. In the morning, we made coffee and went on the verandah again, spotting one of the local koalas up a tree next to the house. The house and surrounds are immaculate, I cant imagine how many hours are spent on the gardens. Another beauty of Coorabell Estate is how easy it is to get to Byron or even closer to Federal. It is close enough to participate in the world, and far enough away to hide from the world for a while.

Recently I enjoyed a family getaway at Coorabel Estate which is located in the Byron Hinterland. The property itself is surrounded by nature - extremely peaceful and the prefect location to unwind. The residence is very clean, spacious, with plenty of rooms. For us, the feature was the pool and grass grounds for family backyard cricket. The highlight was having my morning coffee on the verandah listening to the early morning bird songs. Highly recommended!

This was our 2nd stay and again Rockinghorse Estate did not disappoint. Such a beautiful house, so spacious and comfortable for all 12 of us. The house has 2 wings of bedrooms with open plan lounge, kitchen dining room, an additional lounge area and a loft with 2 bathrooms and full laundry. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable with access to the pool from all downstairs bedrooms. The kitchen was well appointed with a huge dining table. The outdoor areas had beautiful gardens with an amazing pool and numerous sitting areas that look over the pool and a massive balcony with uninterrupted views of the trees and creek.
Last year Alex was a fabulous host but this year Alex outdid himself. We were stranded during the floods with no way out by road or air. Alex let us remain in the house until we could leave and kept us up to date on flights, roads closures and made sure we had everything we needed.
Thank you Alex for being so kind and generous during a difficult time. We will see you again soon.

We recently stayed at Rocking horse Studios Estate for the second time and will definitely be back. The house is well equipped and spacious enough for a large group to have their own space and to enjoys meals and each other’s company. In the communal areas. The bedrooms are beautifully appointed and the rain water shower head in the bathroom is what dreams are made of. The outdoor entertaining areas and pool are a great place to relax and enjoy the wonderful scenery. We’ve had another absolutely fantastic stay.
A huge thank you to Alex for looking after us when we were stuck with the recent floods.

Perfect place to have an elopement - very intimate and peaceful!
The service we received from Jane, Taryn & Ben was great. Very helpful and dedicated to making the stay as painless as possible.
