came into the salon with a last minute appointment because a previous salon butchered my hair cut. The previous salon left my face framing “layers” choppy with a good 2-3 inches between each layer which also happened to be uneven. Embarrassing. Janelle cut & styled my hair to perfection. She was gentle and pleasant to talk to. The head massage was much needed and she also helped me identify my face shape! I left feeling like a brand new me. This is exactly what I needed. 1000% recommend this salon.

Amazing experience! It is such a welcoming environment at Cooper and Co and everyone there is so skilled. Sheridan is fantastic! She gave me the best haircut I've ever had! She knew exactly what I was after and gave me a cut that really suits me. I will definitely be back. Thanks Sheridan!

I had an amazing experience! Booked in online and was called in for an interview-person consult. They gave me a sample of shampoo and conditioner to prep my hair better for the hair colour. Had a welcome massage and tea. My hair turned out amazing! Did a big change after many years of doing the same thing.

Sat for 15 minutes before anyone spoke to me. Then had to wait another 15mins. My hairdresser was very rude the way she spoke to me. I only had hair cut ( no wash, products etc) . I was then given bill for $101 ( which previously had been approx $60 ). I was then advised the cost is based on 'time' ? My actual haircut took < 30 mins. She then Only charged for 30 min haircut ( which it was anyway) and cost was $65. Not a pleasant experience.

Cooper & Co recently did the hair and makeup for my wedding in Armidale. Janelle, Mary and the team were so lovely, professional and talented through the whole process, even with covid delays. I'm so grateful for them and their work, they made us so beautiful and happy on the day. I cannot recommend them highly enough for events and for normal hair egg makeup. Thankyou!!

There are lovely aspects to the salon - such as the welcome tea and massage, and the friendly natures of staff when you’re greeted. I definitely would not recommend Cooper & Co, however, for any blonde colour services. I would also strongly suggest that cuts are done by an experienced staff member.
NB: The salon chairs are extremely uncomfortable and have no support or cushioning for when you are there for extended periods of time. Avoid if you have any kind of back problems.
