The place is a perfect location, the staff running the hostel are wonderful people and the vibes were immaculate. The kitchen has food facilities.

The bunk rooms have charging points but they are not next to the bed

There are regular activities here and it is a 5/10 minute walk from the beach.

I drew over faces for privacy as I don't have permission from anyone in the photo to post but every time they collect new guests from the greyhound drop off they dress as bananas. It's pretty funny. As a guest you can join in too if you'd like.

I stayed here solo, and probably one of the best Hosels I have stayed in. Everyone who works at Cool Bananas makes you feel so welcome and involved. I had such a good time. You must go on the plane ride, you actually get to have a go at flying! Amazing experience and worth every penny. The team were amazing, I wish I could have stayed longer! The hostel itself was clean, welcoming and felt homely. Not to mention the super cute dog that lives here :)|Definitely worth staying here in Agnes Water.|I’ll not forget this one 😁

What an amazing place full of lovely people!
I had such a great time here, wish I could have stayed longer. This hostel is probably the most social one I've been to in Australia, which I as a solo traveller really appreciate. Every single person there was super kind and warm hearted. I immediately got a bunch of new friends, we sat together and played card games, everyone felt directly included. The vibe there is just outstanding 🥰
The rooms and common areas are simple, but very clean and in the kitchen you find everything you could need for cooking. There are also a lot of group activities like bonfire at the beach and when the next greyhound arrives, almost the whole hostel walked to the station to welcome the new guests.
And, one of the best things I ever did - you can take a private scenic flight with Lorenzo, where you even get to control an airplane by yourself 🤫
Don't miss this place! And plan a little bit more time here, that's just paradise ❤️

I absolutely loved my stay at Cool Bananas!
The vibe here is super chill and laid-back, but still has a great social atmosphere. Evenings around the campfire with a beer were such a highlight - the perfect way to meet other travelers and unwind. The staff are incredibly friendly and approachable, always around for a chat or to help with anything you need.
I also highly recommend the flight tour where you actually get to fly the plane! It's a unique and unforgettable experience - the instructor is super relaxed and makes you feel totally at ease from the start. Such a cool adventure!
Would definitely come back. Thanks for the amazing memories!

I booked the 3 day adventure pack, which for me included a plane ride (got to drive it myself, and thanks to Lorenzo!!), an awesome boat ride by the owner and a surfing lesson by one of the workers. I really had a great time here! It didn't feel like a commercial place, they like personal contact. The hostel itself is very spacious, nice outdoor area, big rooms and a big kitchen. The people were very social. Thank you Cool Bananas!

I had an amazing time at Cool Bananas! It was a pleasure meeting the owner and the friendly staff. The location is perfect. 5 min walk to the beach, grocery stores, liquor shops and bars/restaurants.
The staff was super friendly, including the Hostel Dog!
It was a great and cosy vibe. We had bonfires, played games and volleyball and many other great activities.
I would definitely recommend the hostel to everyone who is looking for a great fun time. It was very clean (kitchen and bathroom were cleaned very frequently).

5/5! Highly recommend it!

As soon as you get picked up by staff dressed as bananas, you know you’re in for a good time. It’s such a fun way to start your stay, and it instantly makes you feel welcome.

The hostel itself is super cozy, with hammocks to relax in during the day and a fireplace to gather around at night. It's the perfect size—not too big, so it has a familiar, friendly atmosphere where you easily connect with other travelers.

The owner is incredibly kind and makes sure everyone feels at home. Everything is kept very clean, and the location is great—just a short walk to the beach!

So nice ! Did the adventure pack so i had a flight, surf and speed boat and had the best time! The hostel is very nice and feels like a big family, with a great kitchen and quiet rooms. The community space is very nice and there’s a lot of activities to do with the hostels … very good stop on your way to the north 🙂
