Arrived only a couple of hours ago and already want to stay for months. Park is well maintained and amenities and pool so clean. Staff were so helpfull and their love of the area was so evident. Great position. So glad we found this park.

The couple that run this place are exceptionally friendly. Bathrooms are clean. Sites are a good size and very green, lot of shade. Walking distance to all the sites in town.

What a wonderful place to stay. We came for one night but can’t bring ourselves to leave.

Ian and Marion have done a lot to make the park welcoming and homey with lots of little extras.

Highly recommend staying here.

Fantastic caravan park, in the middle of town. Excellent camp kitchen well equipped and spotlessly clean. Toilets and showers also very clean. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Plenty of laundry facilities and fridges and freezer.

What a beautiful little park to stay at. Marion was polite and helpful. Gave us plenty of information about the park and Cooktown to look over. Amenities and camp kitchen are extremely good and comfortable. Would highly recommend it here as a destination stop over.

We have spent the past 3 months travelling Queensland. I can honestly say that this is the loveliest caravan park we have stayed at. The place is immaculate and Elizabeth and William truly love what they do which shines through with the way they run this place. Very helpful and knowledgeable and nothing is too difficult for them. I highly recommend

As you can't book and we have a motorhome, we were lucky to get the last site for one. Fabulous park, exceptionally clean. Conveniently located right around the corner to the main street, it is also dog friendly with a fenced and well looked after dog park at the end of the road. The owner/managers Elizabeth and William are really lovely, friendly and extremely helpful. They go out of their way to assist in any way they can. We're staying a week or so this time and will definitely come and stay here again next time we come up this way.

This camp ground has sites to suit campers, caravans and RVs. Three of us had a single powered site with water for a rooftop tent and a single stretcher tent. The location is excellent, being just off the main street opposite the Top Pub. Surrounded on three sides by open parkland it is also a picturesque setting. We travelled with Dolly the spaniel and she was welcomed here. There is an excellent off lead exercise area for dogs nearby which is divided in half for large and small dogs. Agility apparatus is there to amuse the more active dogs (sadly, not Dolly). The swimming pool is well kept and clean, as are the shower and toilet blocks. I can thoroughly recommended this site for your next Cooktown camping stop.
