Stopped here on our way to the coast. Staff were friendly and meals came out quickly. I ordered the BLT on homemade sourdough. Bread was lovely and fresh. The sandwich came out uncut and was so overloaded with filling, I couldn't pick it up! I ended up cutting it myself and scooping out more than half the filling to make it edible. There was a massive amount of mayo thay had to be scraped off too. Sometimes less is more.

Great value and service, without the bells and whistles. Large selection of cooked meals and coffee. As Cold Chisel sang, 'the coffee's hot and the toast is brown'. Serving size is great, meal ingredients are clearly fresh.

Can't beat Concept for a bacon and egg burger. Great coffee. Felt very welcome amongst all the locals. We will be going back.

Nothing beats a pot of tea with a crisp and salty toastie. And Concept Cafe does a great pot of tea (and a suitable size for two or three cups). With a juicy cheese and tomato toastie, hot and warming on this windy chilly spring day. Also the eggs with potato cake and toast and tomato were just what we needed, threading our way through historic Braidwood. Worth stopping for. Easy service, too.

The coffee was good, however it is an average place at best, given all of the competition in Braidwood, plenty of other cafes in town with better food and service for around the same price.

We went elsewhere first, sat down, had a nice but overpriced cuppa, and decided that the menu was overpriced, pretentious and inedible.
Walking across the road we found the concept cafe.
Proper food, very well cooked in a pleasant and airy venue.
Prices are very reasonable and quality is superb.
We had the bacon egg and cheese wrap and the big breakfast... will not need to eat again. Today.
The thickshake is awesome.
