Great place to stay!!! We initially had issues with our booking however the owner went out of their way to ensure we still had a room. The rooms were lovely and very clean, location is very central to the town and service was amazing. Would highly recommend the stay and will be staying there next time we are in town.

The most expensive hospital food I’ve ever had! We were served the roast lunch which comprised of boiled vegetables, dry potatoes, and stale meat at an extortionate cost of $35 per person. On the plus side the servers were nice

We had a great meal at this hotel tonight - fresh, beautifully prepared ingredients. We have been travelling for 3 weeks.and eating at pubs and clubs and this was our best meal by far. Highly recommend.

Well, if you want to be stuffed around, book a room in this establishment.
We arrived believing we had rooms booked for a very important family commitment in this beautiful little town.
When I say family, sons, daughter, grand kids, the whole lot.
Upon arrival, we were advised that payment hadn't gone through, no problem, not there fault as we booked it 7 days prior and only find out when we get there after travelling 2 hours. We could still pay now not an issue but we're promptly told that the grandchildren were not allowed to stay at the establishment.
We were advised that it states this on there website.
Upon looking up the website and this page, it states children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The rude owner disagreed and simply told us we couldn't stay as we had kids.
Beautiful building, great town, pity that individuals buy such a place and have zero customer relation skills.
If your staying in Lockhart, the Lockhart motel and its owner bent over backwards for us and the rooms were fantastic and the Chinese at the RSL club were amazing.
Do yourself a favour and steer clear of the commercial hotel, you don't need the drama if your getting away for a great weekend

I was travelling through Lockhart and i was hoping to get a nice pub meal but was highly disappointed which caused me to have food poisoning, I should have realised by the lack of customers in the pub that I shouldn't have eaten there .
I am a influencer on social media with a huge following and my review on this pub was appalling, while I was eating my lunch I heard a commotion at the bar, it was a gentleman and a big lady with glasses and blonde hair abusing the gentleman and cursing names at him. It didn't bother them that they had a customer in the pub.
It made my experience very uncomfortable.
After I finished my meal I went next door in the cafe to get myself a little treat only to be disappointed again, there was an elderly lady around 70 years old with blonde hair,
there was no hygiene. I proceeded to choose the cake I wanted, to my surprise she picked the cake up with her hands with no thongs or gloves I also ordered a coffee it was cold and so bitter.
To anyone that is travelling through Lockhart my advice is to NOT stop at the pub!!

Beer is cold! food is great! Bring your morals your friends and your family and they will cater for all your needs and then some. Only free pool table in town. Continental breakfast included in the price of your room in the heart of Lockhart. It doesn’t matter if you’re sheering sheep or have your dogs in a locker, you will find this gem on your way to Wagga.
