I stayed there for a night on a work trip. Very well-kept rooms and excellent service.||After travelling from Canberra all day in 40 degree heat it was so good to relax in the pool before an amazing dinner at the steak house. 5 Stars all the way, I wish I could give 6 stars

I recently stayed at the motel and had a pleasant experience. The room was spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and clean utensils. The staff were friendly and helpful, promptly assisting with any needs. The motel's location is convenient, within walking distance of parks and the town center. However, the bathroom was a bit small, and being on the corner of the highway, there was some road noise. Unfortunately, the on-site restaurant was not open during my stay. Despite these minor inconveniences, I found the Colonial Motor Inn to be a good choice for an overnight stay.

Booked online because the reviews were good. On arrival at the room I had to get so many leaves out as they had blown in under the huge gap in the bottom of door. Room 15 was supposed to be a queen bed room but instead we had 2 king single beds pushed together so no close contact with husband due to the hard edging of bed. Blanket in cupboard was used and dirty and not folded, we realised the previous person may have used it to cover the gap under door. Bathroom wasn’t clean, put the shower towel over the wall at shower and when I pulled it down there was dirty used razor blades and a bloody cotton wool ball and soap paper. Lots of workers staying at hotel so they are set with the big companies paying for them to stay but as a passing tourist it was disappointing. We ordered breakfast on arrival but decided not to wait for it as the cleaning standard of the room and general area was appalling. Wanted a swim to cool off but pool was very dirty. Ashtray outside room wasn’t cleaned. We will never stay again or recommend.

First off I booked the motel for its location being in walking distance to all the shops.|I found the staff very friendly and helpful. The added bonus was the attached restaurant and the meal I had was perfect with a good menu at good prices.|Over all a pleasant stay

One of the best Motel, I would say. I will definitely recommend to my friends and family members if you go that side visit there. And more importantly the staffs are very helpful, friendly, specially the Motel manager Mr Trilok, what a guy. 10/10 . ||Cheers

The motel was relatively cheap in comparison to others on our trip. For this reason we rated it as average, you get what you pay for. The room was clean , the bathroom was very small and basic with only a shower curtain. The bed was comfortable and the linen was clean. Walking distance to town centre. We probably wouldn’t stay again.

We Finished the work in 2 days and the Colonial Motor Inn would not refund the last nights accommodation despite giving 1 days notice. ||It is a cheaply run motel which prioritises money over service to customers. ||Do not pay your accommodation up front.
