I love Coliban Water. After 16 years of dealing with them I have always encountered kind, knowledgable, friendly, helpful down to earth staff who actually work out the issue you are facing. Can't speak highly enough about the ethos of this company who has not gone down the path of American style customer service but rather forged a grounded style of support where the people you speak to are real and present. Terrible organisation that I don't know why I pay the water bill to them seeing they won't fix anything and expect pensioners to call a plumber.
The water pressure in Jackass Flat is so poor I could pee faster than it. The story is that you have to get a plumber to take some sort of value of for better pressure. This is something that happens when you build a house. A lot of frog dust to me. Pay a fortune in feed and won't do anything for you.

I recently had to contact Coliban Water to raise the issue of our front stop tap leaking. The woman I spoke to on the phone on Friday was lovely, helpful and explained that it could take up to 2 weeks for someone to come and fix it, though it could be sooner if they were completing another job nearby. By Monday lunchtime, we had two workers here and the tap fixed in 5 minutes.
I'm very happy with how our issue was completed so quickly and very grateful for their help.

Spoke with 2 customer service consultants where I received the worst customer service experience possible! I had a burst water main where it was impossible to turn off due to also having the tap come off, causing the water to spurt everywhere and was told that it would be fixed on Monday; as they don't normally fix these kinds of things outside of business hours. What a waste of water! Such a fault requires much more immediate action. Very disappointed with Coliban!

I can understand a business policy revolving around touching the outside the water meter. But when you fit something make sure its fit properly so then i dont have to pay for a plumber to fix your unfinished work.

Absolultely outrageously bad service, In fact the worst service we have ever experienced coming from a large corporation.

We took possession of a property in the area on 14 December2021

We received an invoice 1354271 from Coliban water dated 14 December 2021 advising us that we OWED $291.63. Naturally I rang up to query it!

We then received an invoice 1361973 dated 4 January 2022 advising us that a payment of 439.37 had been received and with charges and credits and concession we still owed $200.20. Remember, we only took possession of the property on 14 December 2021!

Naturally I queried it yet again on 7 January 2022 and was advised to ignore it as it was incorrect.

Then I received another invoice 1361973 dated 4 January 2022 advising that a total payment of $731.00 had been received and with charges, credits & concession we now had a Credit of $91.43

Next I received an invoice 1457053 dated 21 March 2022 advising that the credit of $91.43 had been added to by a further payment of $291.63 making our credit now $383.06 but with charges added on and concession taken of the credit was now $120.51

Then came the next notice from Coliban Water dated 29 April 2022
This was a REMINDER NOTICE because they noticed that our previous Account may have been overlooked!!!! I rang up, again, 0n 5 May 2022. spoke to an assistant who was unable to explain what was happening and that a supervisor would contact me. When I had not heard from anyone, on 10 May 2022 I rang, yet again. Spoke to an assistant who advised that she would contact the supervisor who would call me back.
She did, on 10 May 2022 Lia advised me that there had been a lot of errors but the amount of $171.12 was the actual amount due.

She really couldn't explain what had gone wrong, but because it was the fault of Coliban Water I would be given until the end of June to make the payment. I then received by email a replica invoice 1457053 dated 21 March 2022 to be paid by 18 April 2022!!!

I went to Coliban Water today 13 May 2022 to see if I could get clarification of all of the credits, but the young lady at reception was unable to clarify why they had occurred but that it was showing that the amount of $171.12 was what was owing. So I paid that amount and received a receipt.

When I returned home today, 13 May 2022, what was in the letterbox. A GREAT BIG RED OVERDUE FINAL NOTICE !

To say I am furious is an understatement.
