The lady at reception was so lovely (I wish I got her name). Staff were great - so friendly and helpful. Room was nice and big - enough room for the kids to muck around. Beds were comfortable - we had a queen bed and 2 singles. The shower was great. Great size fridge and microwave if you needed. Close enough to town and attractions.

We stayed here last week and booked a pet friendly room !! Everything was fantastic from the friendly staff who greet you to the size and cleanliness of the room. Room was immaculate and spacious lovely clean sheets and plenty of room ! Would definitely stay here again we were very happy with this motel !

This place would have to be the worst place I have ever stayed in for 65 years of my life. Ok it’s pet friendly which is what we wanted. But in saying this we travelled from Gold Coast to sydney and the other 2 places were amazing.!!!! Whilst understating a lot of places are only just becoming pet friendly this place was horrid. The room smelt, there were cob webs and spiders on the ceiling and the “dad and Dave table “ in the bathroom. The other two places we stayed ( one being Bannisters at Nelson Bay and the other Comfort inn at port Maquarie were excellent. Whilst I know and understand there are people that don’t like dogs and people that do, it’s disgusting to smell dog smells. This place should be shut down and renovated. I do not recommend this to anyone. For a supposedly dog friendly place they wouldn’t allow me to even carry my dog int reception to check in.

Don’t let the outside being dated deter you. This place is great! Our room was spacious and clean. The owners and managers have renovated this hotel well and with great detail.

I had a fantastic stay at the Windmill Motel in Coffs Harbour. From the moment we arrived, the lovely lady at reception made us feel so welcome with her friendly and helpful demeanor. Our room was clean, comfortable, and provided everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

The pool was a highlight, especially for my daughter, who absolutely loved it—it was well-maintained and a great way to unwind. The motel is located in a quiet area, which made for peaceful nights, and the rate was excellent value for money.

Overall, a wonderful experience, and I’d highly recommend the Windmill Motel to anyone visiting Coffs Harbour.

I arrived when it was pouring with rain and I was freezing.
I did not have a room booked but Lin the owner just gave me a key and told me to defrost and then sort the accommodation out.
Lin should be duplicated and others could learn do much from her.

I'm sorry but $250 for the room was a bit too much ..
the rooms are old .
I went to have a shower and the shower gel was empty.
Not enough milk . 2 little tiny cups of milk.
Won't be back to this motel.

Arrived late last night and had a Pet Friendly room at $320 a night. Room was dirty,dusty and the rubbish bin wasn't even clean?
Spoke the receptionist this morning and stated my husband has been up all night with his asthma with the dust in the room and apparently it had been cleaned?
Offered $20 refund and said anymore would come out of my own pocket!! Well easy to take our money out of ours!!!

Do not recommend staying here with the state of the rooms!!!
It definitely isn't worth $320 a night. Look at the photos and make your own opinions.
