The trip was absolutely amazing, we saw a few whales and the tour guide:Dominic, was good at spotting them. The information that the tour guide gave during the trip was very interesting. He told us about the area, history, the whales and other animals. There was also nice music and water bottles. Would 100% recommend and if I’m ever near Newcastle again, I’m booking again! Such an incredible experience with the whales today! Right next to the boat!! The experience was quite intimate being in a boat with only 12 passengers. Everything was so well taken care of and comfortable. Dom and his team are excellent and I am so glad we got to see whales and dolphins this way!!
I can’t wait to do this again and so thankful this kind of experience is running right in a Newcastle! Thanks so much, we will be back for sure!

What a truly incredible experience! Highly recommend taking this tour! We saw over 20 whales and saw them jump out of the water and flap their fins several times. It was so amazing to see the beautiful coast line and beaches. The boat is extremely comfortable with 360 views.

I had an amazing trip out with CoastXP to see the migrating humpbacks! The vessel was incredibly comfortable, our crew knowledgeable and engaging, and the whales were showing off in all their splendid glory! A truly wonderful experience - I will definitely be going again!

100% must do for visitors to Newcastle (+ locals!)
We went on a whale watching trip on the long weekend and it was excellent! The boat is the perfect size and allows everyone to get the full experience with 360 views. Dom was our skipper and was extremely knowledgeable and passionate.
If you’re new to Newcastle or lived here your whole life I recommend getting out on the water with CoastXP and experience our beautiful coastline and marine life.

We had a wonderful morning chasing whales with CoastXP. The boat was comfortable and we were supplied with weatherproof jackets. Dom was a font of great information. We will be back again next season.

Peeps, let it be known that this is serious fun.
My 10 year old grandson and I had the best experience. Managed to encounter a number of whales up close and personal. A highlight was the large pod of dolphins who accompanied us for over ten minutes.

We went on the last cruise of the season together with Dominic, and it was simply wonderful! We saw quite a few whales, some from a distance and some a little closer.. At first, they mainly peeked with their backs or their tails, and just before we started to return to the marina, we got dessert from a large group of dolphins that accompanied us very closely. And finally the grand finale some whales who knocked jumps that don't put the Olympics to shame. And Dominic made the experience even better, he was kind and full of knowledge that he shared with us during the cruise.. The cruise that was in a small boat was accurate, we experienced everything up close and accurately.. Thank you very much
