We stayed here last weekend. Had an upstairs room which was recently renovated. Very comfy and clean. Easy walk back for meals and shopping. Not terribly impressed with the ashtrays. A delegated smoking area could be a good idea. we think that invited our downstairs neighbours to smoke and drink and made a heck of a racket to the early hours. But would definitely stay here again.

A very pleasant place to stay for a few days. The room was fresh & clean. We had a comfortable queen size bed & we had requested twin beds for our 2 teenagers which were in place when we arrived. I wouldn't recommend it for any longer than a few days for a family as the room was compact with only 1 sink that had to be used for everything but very nice nonetheless. Good location in Ballina.

The rooms are a bit old school but comfy. Location is close to eateries, short walk. Staff are friendly and the establishment and rooms are clean and tidy. Perfect for an overnighter when passing through. Don't think I'd want to stay there for a extended holiday but it suited our needs.

Very disappointed. Despite claiming their reception was 24/7 on Wotif, also their closing time was 10pm on google, i arrived there at 9:45 pm local time to find the reception unattended.

I pressed the buzzer and got no response so i rang the number on the window and asked if i could stay the night, as i was starting to get tired and wanted to break up the trip.

The woman on the phone said "sorry i can't help you", despite there being availability on the website. When i asked her if she knew anywhere else i could stay at late notice, she hung up on me!

The room for two was very clean, neat and tidy but very small. Definitely suitable for an overnight stay. Nowhere to hang my clothes apart from 4 clothes hooks on the wall and key pick up was done by phone as no one at reception at 4pm. The price was good.

Although somewhat dated, the room was spotless and tidy. Small room but adequate for our needs. No space to hang clothing on a hanger but for one night that wasn't a problem.The air conditioner was directly over the bed plus a large chair placed next to the bed which made things tight. Nobody in attendance when we arrived in late afternoon but a phone call soon fixed that and we were able to access a key. A safety issue would be the bathroom sliding door with no lower track and hand a tendancy to swing outwards. Would we stay here again? Yes, very convenient to restaurants/cafes all within walking distance.
