Dissatisfied, great place to stop and see the home of the Kelpie, but honestly the caravan park management is terrible, I truly believe they think they are running a retirement park for grey nomads, don’t take your kids or make noise after 9:00pm, complaints will happen, probably one of the strictest caravan parks we have stayed at,, and we have stayed at plenty, most likely will never come back.
It’s a shame, being an ex local to the town. I really felt like I was an illegal alien

Left 5 stars PRIOR to current CMCA management, still a great park, in a great town, but current CMCA custodians ruin it. Will leave the 5 stars up as there isn't a spot to leave ZERO stars for management. In future when council wonders why everyone is free camping nearby, you'll know why...

Nice quiet park in the off-season with good amenities. Everything is close by with a good supermarket within easy walking distance. Admin was good even when we had to slightly change our dates. If you like walking there are plenty of tracks. The park is right next to the bowls club, where you will find some friendly locals to have a drink with, in front of a great fire place. Steve & Janet

This park is small but the ground is level for pitching a tent. The camp manager was extremely friendly and gave helpful recommendations. Only downside was the cleaner who turned up at 6am on Sunday morning and seemed to make as much noise as possible. She then moved her car to the other side of the road to clean the public bbqs and left both doors open with music blaring. Some consideration would have been nice.

Small but adequate. A short walk to town and all facilities - swimming pool across the street, children's playground & oval. The amenities were very clean and well cared for. All sites were on well maintained lawn. Note:There appeared to be 4 pubs in town, but only one seemed to be operating & serving meals. The Glenelg Hotel - had excellent meals at a reasonable price. The caravan park fee can be paid at the Glenelg Hotel, or the caretaker will collect it in the evening.

this small caravan park is located within the sporting complex which has bowls, croquet, football, netball , a skate rink, swimming pool ,play ground, the kelpie trail and river front. very clean ablution facility, dump point and very inexpensive laundry and all this just a short walk to the main street and the hotel where we paid is only 100yards away and has one of the best feeds we have enjoyed any where and we travel a lot. The people in this town are all friendly and should be congradulated, we are so impressed we may buy here in the future.
