Absolutely loved seeing, feeding, and stroking the kangaroos, wallabies, and potoroos! Plenty were very friendly and would happily come right up to you for food. Also liked that the animals did have spaces to go to if they wanted to be left alone. Watched a few talks as well, which were great and informative. Could tell that the keepers highly enjoy their jobs and have a lot of love for the animals they're looking after.

What a beautiful place! So many well kept native animals, plenty of space and natural surroundings to wander and sit. Many animals roam freely and you can buy pellets to safely feed them. They also have people- free spaces for them to escape us if need be.. I had a lovely day. Plenty of parking. Good cafe and a little gift shop. I'll be back 😀

Great place. The enclosures are amazing and very natural.
Lots on native animals, plenty of open areas and walking. Be prepared to walk as there is lots of open space areas for the animals to enjoy (like kangaroos) and you can walk through them.
Very well looked after and content looking animals as well.
I did notice some people confused as the map doesn't show everything which made it hard to find somethings or even know they were there.
Also there wasn't always signage about the species inside. I spotted a kingfisher in one aviary but it wasn't on the sign so very lucky to have spotted it.

A wonderful day viewing and interacting with the animals in a natural setting. Whilst enjoying a bit of well earned shut eye, the Koalas were very close and easy to view. Make sure you pick up a bag of stock feed at the park entrance, as the Wallabies loved the feed as we moved through the park. The ducks and geese were also partial to it and all animals were happy to hand feed. The cafe is well air conditioned (providing a welcome respite from the cold), provides a wide variety of tasty snacks for a quick bite to eat and it's definitely worth stopping in for a hot chocolate at the end of your tour to warm up. All and all a great day out for the family.

This is a very big park. A lot of the animals roam free and you can feed them with the pellets provided at the reception desk. We bought 2 and used them all.

There's a cafe, gift shop and reptile house.

Highly recommend the wetlands. There's a huge variety of water birds and they are all very keen to be hand fed.

The emus were very gentle and friendly.

Celand Wildlife Park is a fantastic destination for nature and animal enthusiasts. One of the highlights of our visit was the opportunity to feed kangaroos and birds, which was a delightful and memorable experience. Visitors can purchase food for the animals conveniently at the park's entrance.

A must-see within the park are the dedicated bird enclosures, where you can observe an array of stunning bird species in their natural habitats. Their vibrant plumage and fascinating behaviors are truly captivating. We spent more time in their simply watching and admiring them, and it was well worth the time.

Overall, the park offers a unique chance to connect with wildlife in an interactive and serene environment, making it recommended visit for people of all ages.

The best place to get up close and personal with Aussie animals in Adelaide!
At Cleland, I got to see native wildlife up close, hand-feed them, and even interact with some of the friendliest creatures around, which was honestly one of the coolest experiences I've ever had. There are plenty of opportunities for visitors to connect with the animals, and it really feels like you're stepping into their world. If you're looking for a genuine wildlife experience, this spot is absolutely worth the trip!
