Pleasant bakery with good range of excellent goods, both savouries and sweet ones.
The presentation of the pastries is excellent, the prices are significant. The taste is quite decent - but for the desserts less impressive than their appearance.
The coffee is decent, not spectacular and there is outdoor and indoor seating. The bread is also excellent.

Well this is that place.

Authentic, beautifully presented pastries, just mind blowing.

This is the best bakery I've been to outside of Europe without a doubt.

A must if you're in town or passing by.

this place is a little gem - i think i probably just had the best pistachio croissant of my life. we're too full to try the banoffee (the pistachio croissant was massive) but looking forward to trying it tomorrow. can't wait to come back here later in the year!

Claudio Bakehouse is a bustling café, especially during peak tourist season. There’s plenty of outdoor seating, which adds to the lively atmosphere, but be prepared for it to be quite busy.

The pastries are undeniably beautiful—stunningly crafted and visually appealing. However, I found the quality didn’t quite live up to the presentation. The texture was a bit chewy, and some items were overly sweet for my taste. That said, the savoury options looked much more promising, with a great selection of sandwiches and pastries that seemed fresh and hearty.

The coffee was fine—standard and serviceable but nothing particularly memorable.

There are toilets onsite, though they were locked during my visit. Without clear instructions on how to access them, I decided against asking the very busy staff for assistance.

Overall, while Claudio Bakehouse has its charms and undeniable popularity, I’m not sure it’s worth the hype or the wait. It’s a pleasant spot to visit if you’re curious, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

Huge variety of pastry, something for everyone. All the pastry tastes good and warm. If anyone in the area, I highly recommend to try this bakery.

Unbelievable pastries.
Claudio really focusses on fantastic and stunning looking food food.
Coffee was great.
Pastries were beyond delicious.
Try the Crozenrotti for something different (croissant filled with ham and mozzarella).

We've been several times now whilst on holidays and have to say every time the service is impeccable. Always very busy which is a great sign.
Food - savoury and sweet crossiants, lemon meringue, focaccias is prob the best I have ever had! Seriously a wonderful little bakery, we are glad we have visited.
