We had a fantastic day on our tour of the Clare Valley with Dave. We thought we were just in for a winery tour, but he provided much more than that with the history of the region showing us other interesting sites. His knowledge of all things Clare valley, wine and history, is amazing. He was very relaxed and accomodating especially considering we booked last minute. We got much more than we bargained for. We were a group of 8 from various parts of Australia who went on a tour with Mr Willson in a very comfortable bus on an all day tour around this beautiful Clare Valley. Dave’s knowledge of local history and points of interest was fantastic and we learned a great deal about the area. Magnificent lunch at Mintaro, good wines, great company, good humour, brilliant host. We were picked up from our accommodation right on time and it was well organised. We shall return.
