I've had the pleasure of working with Debbie Stanojevic from Civium who has taken great care of my apartment in Turner, Canberra as property manager. I couldn't recommend Debbie and Civium more highly for the work they do in the property management and real estate sector!

I would like to thank Debbie, our property manager, who has been more than helpful over the last 6 months, she addressed maintenance issues as quickly as possible and kept us in the loop in regards to the property that we have lived in for the past 8 years.

Very unprofessional staff. They don’t care the time and efforts people spend on rental application. I had very bad experience with them as after submitting rental application me and my wife wait for more than one week for their response. We got to know that some of the the reference is not complete but Civium staff did not tell us that which reference is pending. Upon completing all references still we were getting emails that reference check is not completed. When we contacted them again then they updated their system and we got that email that our application is forwarded to the owner and we will get the final response within 24hrs. It’s been 3 weeks now and still no response from the Civium staff. We called multiple time at Civium reception but every time there is one scripted reply that the property managers are not at office and the receptionist will pass on the message. But, still never got any reply. When my wife got angry over phone then one day receptionist told us that the property is already rented to someone else and we will get the email soon. Still, till date we never got any email from Civium property manager. Civium wasted our precious 3-4 weeks, specially when we were on notice period to vacate our current residence. We would have looked properties somewhere else if Civium had replied us on time. Now, I don’t look at the property if it is advertised by Civium. I highly recommend not to go for Civium agency. Please choose different agencies as they are far better than Civium.

The worst Property Manager ever I have seen They do not respect their clients and are not professional at all. I applied to rent a house at 3 Camm Street, Holder. After this I wrote a letter to the property manager with a new offer of $795 per week but she did not respond. My wife and I tried to contact her over 15 times on her private number and also your office number and left messages and she did not respond to our calls or messages. The name of the property manager was Brooke. This is a disrespectful and unprofessional way of dealing with clients. I was interested in renting the house and was prepared to increase the weekly amount but I think she did not want to rent to me for reasons unknown to me. I hope this does not happen again in the future.

We recently purchased a new home with the assistance of Lance Musgrove.
We had a good experience working with Lance. Lance is professional, approachable and helpful. He was always available to answer any queries in a timely manner. Most importantly, he kept us informed throughout the whole process.
Thank you Lance. Your time and your effort is very much appreciated.
I would recommend his service to anyone.

We were disappointed with the treatment we received from Chae Smith, our former property manager who, I understand, no longer works for Civium.
After 12 years of loyal tenancy, we were subjected to an unprofessional and unfair end-of-lease inspection. While I appreciate that an end-of-lease inspection is vastly different from a periodic one, Chae Smith's behaviour was fairly inconsistent. She nitpicked minor issues that contradicted her previous compliments on our to quote: “immaculate maintenance”. Her focus on trivial matters, such as dust on top of kitchen cabinets an errant strand of hair accidentally left on the toilet seat and drip marks on the sink felt vindictive and unfair. Granted, we may have employed cleaners that obviously didn’t meet the standards, but I still feel this was a biased assessment that disregarded normal wear and tear for a now 19 year old apartment complex.

Moreover, the owners lacked transparency throughout the selling process and responded dismissively to our concerns. When we pressed for information, they sent a trite and passive-aggressive text message, essentially saying "sorry if you feel that way" without addressing our legitimate concerns. This buck-passing response was unprofessional and showed no empathy or accountability.

We expected better from the people we entrusted with the home we were leasing. If you value respect, professionalism, and basic communication, exercise caution when dealing with Civium.
