While a great locations and the unit is certainly spacious & comfortable. Bedding, linen all as you would expect, but…||The details disappointed.|Constantly dripping tap in ensuite, Dirty curtains, broken light switch, wonky fan, cobwebs in windows, tv didn’t work (investigated and found aerial etc had been disconnected).|Missing towel rail in ensuite, bracket still on the wall.|Tv remote taped together. Washing instructions for a different machine.| In yard cover for hot water unit not attached (left on a shelf), untidy yard. |The unit needs a refresh & a good clean.||Price was reasonable, if the the above didn’t need doing.||I received welcoming SMS from CityStyle and a Thanks for staying with us Sms. I emailed them my feedback last week and am yet to receive and acknowledge of my email. That’s really disappointing, not to mention poor customer service.

Getting into the room can be a bit of an issue but staff are very helpful in gaining key access after hours. Overall the apartment was a good size with full size fridge and cooking facilities. Lounge / dining is large and decor is ok. TV was crap. Half channels did not work as TV too old to get HD reception. Excellent location walking distance to Civic and Braddon shops and restaurants.On site parking a bonus. Not a big fan of having a separate bathroom at the other end of the apartment and not an ensuite to the bedroom. Complimentary coffee was drinkable.

While the location was great, I was very unimpressed with the accomodation itself. The apartment I was booked into is not even listed on their website. It was very dated, and the main bathroom smelled damp and musty. There were previous guests underwear in the dryer machine. The patio was very unkempt and miserable looking. The cleaning was not thorough at all. The entire apartment was very dated. The wifi info was incorrect but thankfully after a bit of chasing I was able to find the right info. There were no ceiling fans or air con in bedrooms, and no security screens meaning it didn’t feel safe to leave windows open at night for ventilation on a warm night. There was a hazardous broken blind at the back door that hung across the door and couldn’t be moved. The foyer of the building absolutely stank - not a great welcome. Do not recommend booking with City Style apartments as you’ll have no idea what you’re getting and there is absolutely not value for money.

We booked a one room apartment in CityStyle for a 3 night mid-week stay. The room was spacious with a separate bedroom. The kitchen had all the utensils and equipment needed for self catering. Free parking is a big plus in Canberra and the information provided on book in explained well how to access the parking space. The units are within easy walking distance of the restaurants and shops in the CBD. Only 2 small issues - the room smelt very strongly of cleaning products when we checked in and it took some time to dissipate. Also the shower curtain was very mouldy. Overall, however we had a very pleasant stay and will happily stay again.

After booking what was advertised as ‘executive’ ‘luxury’ and ‘modern’ we were seriously disappointed to find the apartment was a dive. Toilet not working properly, balcony door extremely difficult to open, and heat pump missing the opening flap cover and filthy. The place was grubby, tired, old and the advertising misleading. The opposite of executive and luxury and certainly not modern. However, the lovely people in the office were very understanding and happy to refund when no other apartment was available. We were able to find alternative accommodation at only $20 more per night. A vast improvement.

Our apartment was quite nice, inviting when you walked in with a kitchen, well set out with a stove and microwave, a laundry with a toilet, a rather big bed room with a desk and television on the wall, good wardrobe space and an ensuite bathroom (lighting not bright in bathroom for makeup). Nice dining area and lounge area with floor to ceiling windows and sliding doors in lounge and bed room. A nice outside area to enjoy a drink or a coffee. Our family had an apartment on 3rd floor not as nice as ours, they were a little disappointed as it was dated....once they saw our apartment they mentioned this. It should be pointed out in the kitchen there is a switch on left hand side from the sink where you turn it on to use the stove. This apartment is very secure, even our family on 3rd level could not get to us on 4th level unless we travelled in the lift to meet them to take them to our apartment. I should point out in the ensuite bathroom the step up into the shower is quite high, be careful stepping in and out, be mindful of this as not to slip. THIS IS NOT A HOTEL BUT AN APARTMENT MANAGED BY PHEONIX, SELF CHECK IN WITH ALL THE DETAILS EMAILED TO YOU ONCE YOU HAVE PAID.

Location was perfect. Good restaurants and bars nearby, and easy to get to all local attractions. Staff were helpful on check-in and available at very short notice for any questions or problems (not that we had any). Our apartment was clean, quiet, and had plenty of space, plus everything we needed to make our stay a great one. Good value for money, and we would definitely stay here again.

We were looking for accommodation in Braddon. Because of Summer Nats, our usual accommodation was not available. After we had booked we found the apartment was in Turner, not Braddon. Having said that, they are quite well appointed and we would definitely consider staying there again. The apartments in Turner were within walking distance of Lonsdale Street and also our son’s place. Loved the full kitchen and front and back balconies. Great that there is a laundry in the apartment. The toilet sometimes continues to run and the fan did not work. Well appointed and a comfy stay. It is not a hotel, keys have to be picked up from Northborne AVe, Braddon.
