Reception was excellent, friendly and helpful.
Good size, clean and modern rooms.
Nice short walk to Luca.
One bedside light was not working but otherwise good facilities. Nice size TV, internet reliable and good strength in room 4, great size bathroom (the shower base needs nuking for some black mold on the grout)

😊: Kitchenette in the room was very handy to have. Parking right outside the room was also great for loading/unloading..
😢: The carpet was filthy and in desperate need of a steam clean or replacement. The spare blanket was also quite dirty..

Recently stayed at the motel over the new year (2025). I was apprehensive after reading the negative comments but I was pleasantly surprised with the room. We were a family of 4 and staying in the family suite.
It's a dated property, but the rooms were clean and everything was well kept.
Ours was meant to be a stopover, so was only looking for basic amenities that this place has provided. (Working appliances - fridge, microwave, stocked up tea and coffee sachets, clean mugs, etc etc!) I was prepared for the worst after reading some reviews, but my experience has been otherwise)

I can definitely recommend this place for a stopover based on my experience.

Great location and easy parking. We travel a fair bit and see a lot of rooms in Oz and Asia, and these rooms are up there with the better ones. Ageing fittings but well maintained and very clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

😢: It wasn't what was advertised, it was cold, and the rooms disjointed, with the fridge in the bedroom? really weird configuration. No room service to clean the room or replace towels on Sunday.

We went for one night and stayed for three. We would have stayed longer but they were booked out. A great Motel with all the things you could need.
Microwave, muga, knives and forks, plates. Very clean and it appears to have been modernised not long ago.
When we extended the Office offered additional towels and cleaning. They were very helpful.
My wife loves a spa bath and the bathroom had one just the right size.
We will be back.

Due to a last min family dash to Melbourne from Sydney after working all day on Friday. We needed a late check-in, hot shower and comfy beds. City Reach delivered and exceeded our expectations. Even though the place seemed fully booked when we arrived at 11pm, the venue was quiet. We had a beautiful hot shower, snuggled into a warm bed, and crashed hardcore. Therefore, we were all ready for a 7am kick off the next morning to continue our adventure. Highly recommended City Reach.
