Beautiful old character building with a cool funky bar feeling. The food was delicious. We had "the special" Chilli prawns with cherry tomato pizza. Good authentic wood fired pizza bases. Was so good to wind down at the end of a long day by the fire in this casual place. Full bar and friendly service. So glad we came.

Excellent woodfired pizza and great outdoor seating in a lovely setting. Great for a casual lunch with family and friends.

Wonderful pizza. Very authentic. Many different flavours to choose from. Outside seating was beautiful. Sat under a blossoming tree. However service was polite but minimal. And they did not serve coffee. Despite this would definitely go again.

Is it a great bar? Absolutely!
Was it some nice pizzas? Yep!

So why wasn’t it 5 stars?
Ok this comes down to personal preference. All in all the pizzas were great, I enjoyed our couple of pizzas and definitely wish I had ordered more! But! Both pizzas were very ‘wet’ in the middle with practically no crust. Soggy didn’t quite explain it. Just so wet I figured it has gotta be the style and to that I did not enjoy at all. U can’t even fold a u shape triangle to feed yourself cause it’s just so saggy from the moisture. That said, flavour was there and I did wish I ordered an extra one.

The menu was interesting for me, overall I felt like half the menu were very similar with just 1 or 2 ingredients different. We ordered the Kelso and the Brewongle and if it wasn’t for the olives and mushroom you might think they are practically the same. I guess that was the point?

Anyway, I’m not complaining. I enjoyed my lunch and I recommend this place! Come with some friends and you’d have a great afternoon!

We've visited some amazing pizza spots in Sydney, so we weren't sure what to expect here. But trust me, you need to add this place to your must-visit list in Bathurst. Everything was fantastic, and I highly recommend checking it out. They specialise in pizza and truly excel at it, the cocktails are delightful, and the vintage venue adds to the charm.

We went for a team/group dinner. All food pre-orderred 3 days before.
Lemonade ordered was just soda water, when questioned no apology and replaced as if they were being put out by it. No lime or mint for cocktails (at least 3 on the menu). Breads and salads came out relatively fast, pizza started coming out in 2-3 at a time. Over 1.5 hours later at least 5 pizzas not received. When questioned we were told they would make them now, so we wait another 20 minutes, question again and we're told the kitchen is closed. Again told them we have at least 3 kids that have now been waiting over 2 hours for food and they refused to make them. No apology and extremely rude. Disappointed as place has potential if managed correctly.

I had family visiting from Sydney and as I had a good experience a few years ago at the Church Bar we ate there on Sunday evening, the pizza was awful, the crust was soggy so when you picked up a slice of pizza all the toppings fell off... I am trying again this week as it is a friend's birthday, I will definitely be speaking to management as they need to step up their game and I definitely would not recommend the pizza to people

Family section as well as high chaors pub setting as well as welcoming courtyard.
Prices also very reasonable for Bathurst to feed all family.
